Distance from BWV to MGM

Our waitlist for BWV just came through and I was wondering if it is too far to walk from BWV to MGM.

Its not far, 10 minutes rushing, 15 at a good pace. If you come back on the boat-jump off at the first stop (Swan) and walk over the bridge.

Yup, totally walkable, I usually walk because if I brisk it I can outpace the boat unless it's right there and ready to go when I am. Plus it's a very nice quiet walk.

I've timed it - 13 minutes for us.

I've previously measured these distances using my GPS receiver.

From the Ticket booth at MGM to the first BWV building is 0.55 miles.

From the Ticket booth at MGM to the Luna Park Pool is 0.66 miles. (Or in other words, it's 0.11 miles from the pool to the end of the BWV complex).

We walk it all of the time and I can honestly say that the boat has never beaten us to MGM. If you have a room by the tennis courts or quiet pool it is even closer.

It was such a lovely walk along the canal w/ finely manicured lawns. We very much enjoyed it and it's one of our fondest memories of the BWV. We did it w/ a 3 yr old and baby and found it to be relaxing and nice and not long at all.
