Distance from Boardwalk to Y&BC

I have booked Flying Fish Cafe for DH's 50th birthday meal for 5.30pm on 4th Jan. I have also got an Illuminations Cruise booked for 8.30pm (a surprise). Is it possible to walk from Flying Fish to the Y&BC Marina, if so how long should it take and what direction should we take?

Yes you can walk, it takes about five minutes. You can see Y&BC from the BW. It's just across the lake.

It is only around the lake so a 10 - 15 min stroll When you come out of the FF go in a clockwise diection. I wouldn't bother waiting for a boat only hop on if there is one there

Come out of FF, turn left along the Boardwalk, turn left past Jellyrolls before you get to the Atlantic Dance Hall. Head towards the Swan but take the right hand bridge over to the Yacht Club mariner

Shouldn't take you more than 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk

If you decide to take the Friendship Boats take the MGM boat - the Yacht/Beach Club will be the next stop. It's prpbably quicker to walk though

As everyone else has said, it's only a short stroll or boat ride. I believe it is also possible to have the Illuminations Cruise pick you up from the Boardwalk dock, right outside Flying Fish.

Yes Andrews right.

If you mention beforehand that you are at the Boardwalk, they will come over to pick you up on the night. That's unless you want to walk off some of the meal you ate.

Oohh what a great suggestion! Thanks for letting me know about this.

That would be so much easier - to come out of the restaurant and straight onto the boat and would keep the surprise flowing. I will ring them back and ask if it can be arranged.
