Distance between Universal and Islands of Adventure

Just a quick question

Is the only way to go between the two park through the City Walk?? If so, how long is the walk???

We have only 1 day to do both parks

The parks' two front gates are a 5-minute walk apart and maybe 300 yards. CityWalk is mostly on the other side of the water.

Yep only about 5 min max ... You can also get to IOA by turning right before the big Universal ball when exiting the studios and walk along the path in front of the Hard Rock Cafe and NBA City

Depending which park you do first, but exiting Universal or entering there is a side entrance and exit between HRRR and store, brings you out where the Old Nick now Blue man group theater , side of Hard rock Cafe is, quicker than using the front entrance/exit. there is also a part of the Berlin wall there as well

Yep. May not be any shorter, but there are certainly fewer people to contend with.

Thanks for all the replies. It's going to be a whirlwind day trying to fit both parks in one day. I'm trying to plan the day accordingly. Probabaly do Universal first and then head over to Islands of Advanture as it's open a bit longer then Universal.

I'll be in Disney World from Aug 31- Sept 7th. I'll be going to Universal on Friday Sept 2nd.

The crowds will be slowing down by then, so your chances are very good to get everything done. Either do Wizarding World first or last.
