distance between RPH and Hard Rock?

I have booked a car rental to pick up when we land and plan to just use it that day to drive to downtown disney and return to the hotel....I accidentally put the return as hard rock hotel instead of RPR which is where we are staying.!!!
I don't want to cancel and re-do it as the rates have gone way up for some reason. I got a Hertz car rental to pick up at orlando airport and drop off at HRH for 36.75 plus tax for total of 49.68 and now when I check it is showing me a rate of 105.00 for some reason......
so.....
could I just drop it off at HRH and walk over to RPR?....assuming I can drop my crew and bags at RPR first and then do the car drop off.

anyone done the walk?

That would be no problem. The walk from HR to t citywalk is about 6 mins.,
from there you can catch the boat to RPR or walk(12mins.).

The bus shuttle might be faster. It will take you to the park from HRH and then over to RPR.
