Distance between pool & beach at Aulani?

Can anyone tell me how long of a walk it is between the beach and the main pool at Aulani? I'm gathering that lounge chairs on the beach are easier to come by, so I'm thinking about making our "home base" at a beach lounge chair and then spend the day going between the lagoon, over to the lazy river, take a dip in the pool, etc. Is that feasible or is the walk between the beach chairs and pool long and annoying enough where we won't want to do that?

It only a minute or two. The stairwell to go down to the lagoon and beach is near the infinity pool.

It's close. But wear your flip flops. The pool deck gets HOT!!

Its very, very close. Like 50 yards maybe. Of course, the pool area does stretch well into the resort so you could spend maybe a full minute walking to the beach.
