I booked 1 b/r villa @ Beach Club May 28-June 3.
Plans changed and we can now leave for Orlando Sat 5/25. Needed to add 2 nights to reservation.

No can do. Booked solid @ Beach Club. It's Memorial Day weekend, so not surprised.

I looked at other properties and saw a 1 b/r villa theme park view at Bay Lake Tower avail for those 2 nights. Same availability at Grand Floridian. I did not book it at that moment. Went back next day and it is no longer available. So dumb, I know! I should have known. So....back to searching.

Most DVC availability is gone. We do not want to stay at Saratoga Springs or Old Key West.

I did the next best thing (to me, anyway) and booked a Deluxe Studio w/theme park view at Bay Lake Tower. Cost is $466/night.

We are DVC and AP. That is the DVC rate.

Question: should I call DVC and see if they can help? There is 1 night availability, should I grab that and hope that the other night opens up? Doesn't seem likely as it's Sunday night that is booked, right before the Monday holiday.

Any insight and ideas are welcome. Thanks very much.

I Would book the 1nt and then waitlist the other. Don’t know if the 1nt is for BCV if not I would waitlist the other 2nt there also.

On top of that I would stalk the rat, maybe stalking beats the WL.

It’s good that you have booked a cash reservation also so you at least have a place to stay.

IMHO — pennywise pound foolish — both SSR and OKW are worth more than a rate of $466/night at BLT. Both resorts have larger rooms and better amenities. To each his own...
