Disregard; problem fixed!

I have made 3 calls in the last 24 hrs to DINE and they show no availability for the Luau when they put me under a dining plan (category 2 & 3). When they change us to prepaid, they could book us. However, prior to adding the DP, I already booked CRT, so I already have $600 out holding that res (which will get refunded), I am not excited about shelling out another $600 for the luau and waiting to get that refund. (10 ppl)

Has anyone seen/dealt with/resolved this? Would a call to IT help? Suggestions?

i do not believe there is a difference between cash reservation and DP reservation. Maybe the Dp only allows you to book a certain category and those are booked up? I am not sure

When I talked to the first two CMs, they would ask how I was paying. I said DP, and they looked it up and it showed no availability. When they changed me to cash, it was there. The first CM sad they had been having this problem, it was a glitch. She seemed very knowledgeable. The second one encountered the same thing. She put me on hold to call guest services. I was on hold for 20 min, and somehow I transferred to the Swan & Dolphin, at which point I hung up....

Today's CM was less than helpful, borderline rude and said she was unaware of any such issue.

We are on the regular DP, my parent are deluxe DP, so we will probably have their credits cover this meal...

The DP does only allow category 2 or 3. However, they are both avail when I am under a cash res, just not as a DP.

4th call is a charm! It worked!!! I am so confused on what was wrong, but it's done now!
