disposing of "sink" water

We are tent campers and usually have a small challenge when washing dishes (we use paper plates/plastic forks and such, but of course we have the normal pans, pots, etc.). When we camp at stateparks, they provide a dish washing sink at the bath houses to either wash your dishes or dump your sink water from a basin. I don't remember there being a "washing sink" at the comfort stations at FW.... so, where do we dump the sink water?

Thanks!!!

There is a big sink in the laundry room of each comfort station. Dump away!

Just pitch it close to the neighbors sight! If you are in a perineum sight there is a dump sink with the hook up for the sewer lines but I agree with TCD get a 5 gallon bucket and dump it at the comfort station

:scared1: Wow! I didn't know they had those kinds of camp sites at Disney! Is that in the new adult loop? :rotfl:

Seriously, that is one of the best typos ever!!

Thanks for posting this question Running_Bell! I was wondering what the proper "etiquette" was for this at the Fort.

To further confirm the appropriate etiquette for disposing of waste water, here is a photo of the notices that you will find on the utility connections in the 2000 loop:

As I understand the Fort's policy for grey and black water disposal you should call the front desk on the house phone to locate an empty full hookup site and dump your water there. Incidentally, those signs on the utility poles only address waste water storage. I have yet to see any written guidance from FW concerning water disposal. Florida has strict health laws concerning dumping, storage, and transport of human wastewater (sealed containers - sink water is considered sewage because of food particles).

Some people use the sink in the CS laundry room for grey water and some will use a CS toilet for black water.

What I would like to see is the installation of a dump station outside of each CS in the 2000 and 1500 loops (Disney if you are reading this...hint, hint).

Sorry the dyslexia Kicked in on that post! Boy did I fumble the fingers on that one. Hope I'm still aloud within 500 ft of Crockett s Tavern !!!!!!!
