Disnyland Annual passes or DVC contract?

Hey everyone,

I would appreciate everyone's insight and perspective on this financing question :

Our family of seven Disneyland annual passes are set to expire next month, if we renew our monthly payments will be over $650.
If we go through with our third contract with DVC at AK, our monthly payments will be half that.

We live in CA but are planning to move to Florida or Texas next year sometime. Needless to say we love Disney, we used to go at least once a month with our passes.

Perspectives, opinions, thoughts? Thanks guys!

Idk how to compare the two, if you get a dvc contract it is a longer term and you need tickets still

These are completely different issues.

I can't picture getting value out of annual passes in a no princesses, wearing masks, no restaurants Disney, or flying enough with seven people to do this right now, but maybe your family can.

I am sort of in the market to buy into DVC, but not right now. Historically, the price drops (like real estate) are a few months lagged.

Don't forget that once you buy DVC, you will still need to come up with around $8.00 per point, per year (at current prices) for Membership Fees. This means that on a 250 point contract, you will still need to come up with about $2000 a year, which, if you arrange for monthly payments, is an additional $165 per month or so. I am not saying it isn't worth it. I definitely LOVE DVC (I have 8 contracts) but you have to consider that.
