Disneyworld vs. Heaven

My 4-year-old nephew is beside himself with joy anticipating his first trip to Disneyworld. His mom was reading a Bible story about the ladder of Jericho. He pointed to a picture and asked where the ladder went and my sister-in-law explained it went to Heaven. He said "Mom, I don't want to go to Heaven". She was kind of surprised and the more she talked and explained he just got more upset and worried. He finally said "Honest Mom, I don't want to go to Heaven, I just want to go to Disneyworld". Apparently he thought he got only one trip or the other.

my dd (now 11) discovered what an "appetizer" was on our first trip to disneyworld (many years ago). a month or so after her christian preschool lesson was on the baptism of christ. the teacher asked my daughter "what did john do to jesus" her reply "he appetized him" ...well, maybe they had snacks after the event
