OK just to let people know for some reason Disney UK is letter you book holidays for next year (next October I was looking) with free dining. Now I'm assuming this is a glitch and personally didn't book but if there are people out there who can benefit from this is might be worth doing it as I would assume they have to honour it.

its not a fault, its already out but they are just not advertising it

My parents booked over the phone for next year and got it, we are booking soon as well

Been on sale a while now. Loads of people have been booking for the free dining, prices are up on this year though unfortunately.
Just checked, been on sale since at least start of April.

I knew this years was on sale but didn't realise next year (2010) was also on sale as the offer doesn't state this which is why I posted it. Sorry if it has already been discussed on here.

I would rather info like this be posted 3 or 4 times than not at all. There will be always people that miss it the 1st time around, once it goes off the 1st page info dissapears.:thumbsup2

can i just ask which months are included in free dining next year? I had been secretly hoping for free dining in Jan 2010 for marathon weekend, but seems unlikely

Unfortunately for us, it says when I search for May:

Did you know that for stays between 1st August and 18th November 2010 select Disney resorts offer FREE dining?

They could change it to cover all of December if the economy is still in dire straights, like they did for this year you never know. I think they need to work out how to get people booking again if the market doesn't pick up much by next April. They did a great marketing campaign for this year so it's just a case of wait and see at the moment.

It looks like it runs through this Christmas to New Year at least at the moment, don't know about next year yet you will need to juggle the dates on the official site for WDW booked through the UK just "google" it and see.

Thanks. Gives me some idea of when I need to look to book for next year after the cruise.

I phoned Disney.co.uk last night to ask a few questions about our trip for next year. Whilst I was on the phone I asked the lady what the closing date was for free dining with reservations for Sept 2010. She stated that Dec 21st 2009 was the last date that I could book a room to SSR or OKW dependant on availability for Sept 2010.

I asked a few other questions, which you all probably know the answers to anyhow so I won't post them. Me and my girlfriend talked about it and then booked OKW on the dining plan for Sept 2010 :) Now I dunno what to look forward to more Conorado Spring 2009 or Old Key West 2010.

Last night we were practically bouncing off the walls.

To bring us back down to earth with a bump we tried to reserve our flights with FirstChoice (only Direct flight to Orlando from Bristol airport) and they charged the whole price to the credit card rather than letting us pay a deposit like we done this year :( I have to call them up later to see if they will refund part of the transaction so we don't have to pay for it upfront, otherwise we will have to cancel the booking with the credit card company and book again paying just the deposit.

We did think of another question though if anyone can help.

Our flights (the ones we have booked) arrive at Sandford Airport at 14:05 on Sunday 12th September 2010 so we will get to our room and checkin around 16:00 on 12th Sept. Our flight home leaves Sandford at 16:05 on Sunday 26th September. Based on this we will check out of our room on the Morning of 26th September, probably around 11am. We booked the accomadation for 12th - 26th September however we aren't really staying there for the 26th September as we are checking out on that day in the morning. Have we booked a day to many?

You have booked it correctly. You give checkout date.
We are booked OKW 6th-22nd Aug, arrive very late on 6th, leave about 9am on the 22nd for a cruise. You always book check in to check out dates.:thumbsup2

Hi All,
I am still a little confused over when the offer closes, we are thinking of booking SSR with free dining plan for next August, does the discounted SSR offer close this July or run through (to Dec) like the dining plan?, sent the question to Disney UK afew days ago but havent had a reply yet.

Thanks for any help.

i thought it was only up till 17th dec this year not all of dec??
we was looking to book for a few nights before new year but paid full rate no ddp fee?

Okay to clarify - I was only asking about a trip I was looking to book for Sept 2010 and only for the 2 resorts we were considering, OKW and SSR.

The lady on the phone told me I could book (phone up and reserve the sept 2010 dates) the offer for the trip up to 21st Dec 2009. The offer being pay for the accomadation and park tickets and get the free dining plan. This was obviously based on availability of the accomadation for the dates we wanted to travel.

Therefore I would assume that other trips in 2010 would have the same or similar cut off dates.

I think its only on the moderates that you get the dining plan (and that being the quick service dining plan). To get the dining plan you need to book Old Key West or Saratoga Springs - or other higher rated accomadation - hence why we went for OKW.

I am just going by the detials of the deal on disney.co.uk as of now.

Others who know how disney do their deals may have more info.

I would love to do pop century 2010 with free dining is there such a thing

If you wanted free DDP at a value resort you would have to book with Disney.com You only have to buy a minimum of a 1 day ticket to qualify but its limited to 14 days, this is for regular DDP
As said on Disney.co.uk you have to book minimum of a moderate resort and buy a minimum of a 5 day Premium ticket, moderates only qualify for Quick service DDP, Deluxe for Regular DDP. can book upto 21 days.

You need to look at both sites and see which is the best deal for yoou, for us it was cheaper to book for OKW on .co.uk than Value on.com, paid £91/night incl regular DDP.
