Hi Guys,

Need some of your great advice again, :)

Looking for next year now... Me, DW & DD (6)....Looks like were down to a choice between Coronado Springs Resort or Port Orleans ( Riverside ) ??? Help :confused3

What do you all think would be better for us ???? Cheers Guys... :thumbsup2

havent stayed at CSR but liked POR. Great resort. Our DD was 5 when we stayed there.Plenty of room, although I much preferred CBR. Also liked the quietness of POFQ. Everyone has there own views and likes but you wont go wrong with any of the mods.

Personally I would go for POR (although I've never stayed at CS :) ).

POR is a lovely themed resort with great landscaping. I bit spreadout but that means it never feels busy.
The food court is really good, plenty of choice and seating room.
There is a nice main pool with hot tub, slide and pool bar as well as plenty of nice quiet pools.
You also get the added feature of the boat to Downtown Disney :)

Personally I would go with CSR, stayed there last year and all the rooms have been refubished - queen beds, flat screen tv, deluxe level tolietires and linens, and the best food court if your on the DDP - were else can you get a steak for a counter service credit?

We love the resort the buses don't share with other resorts and its the most centrally located to all parks.

I haven't stayed at CSR, however it is a convention resort so has more facilities than the other mods(like a gym) and the rooms look really nice, I think I read they have queen size beds too.

We have stayed at POR, and really loved it. It has lots of greenery and is really pretty and picturesque.

My 1st choice would be POR, when we got the ME bus it stopped at CSR and it was full of convention people which puts me off as I feel it takes away from the family atmosphere.

POR will have free QSDP for alot of dates 2011 (UK free dining offer).

Don't know if that sways you either way?

I've never stayed at the CSR, but I absolutely adore the POR. We stayed at the FQ, but did take a walk over to the Riverside and it looked amazing! The scenery is lovely, and there are lots of places to jog/walk around the resort. We spent 1-2 hours just walking around instead of going to the parks. :lmao: The only bad thing was that the pool looked incredibly packed, but luckily there are five small "quiet" pools around the resort.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time on your trip!

I stayed at CSR last year. It's a really nice resort and I would fully recommend it. You can't go far wrong either way. :thumbsup2

vote for POR here too

All these are the reasons we loved CSR! You will get the QSDP free and the Pepper market is great for using those credits - so much choice!

If you travel is when DDP offer is on OKW or SSR is cheaper than the moderates and you get the regular Dining plan instead of Quick service DP.
You probably know but thought I would mention it, not everyone does.

I'd go for CSR due to the new refurbishment (and I love Mexican food!)

Or I'd go for POFQ as I think the themeing looks amazing. POR doesn;t appeal to me, but FQ does for as it's smaller.
