My family has plans to take my two year old to Disney World for her 2nd birthday which falls on March 20th. We have made reservations at the Crystal Palace for lunch and to celebrate her birthday with character dining. We are a family of five including her. I understand this time of year is the busiest at the park, but how horrible of a trip will it really be???

It will be busy, but not horrible. That is probably the first day of spring breaks starting for a lot of places (including central florida) but they are spread out this year with Easter being so late. I would get there early in the day if possible. Have a fun Birthday!!!

I visited WDW during Easter week 2013. It was busy, but tolerable. The long line were only at attractions (and Be Our Guest Restaurant), but not at bathrooms and quick service food service locations.

To put it in perspective, I also spent a few days at Disneyland just after Christmas 2012. Not only were there long lines for all bathrooms and food locations, the paths were so thick with people that strollers and wheelchairs could not navigate New Orleans Square or most of Adventureland throughout the afternoon.

We are there March 22-29, and are also a family of 5. I didn't seem to have any trouble with ADR's (except Be our Guest) or FP+'s, so I am hoping it's not as bad as everyone says. There was another thread going that asked everyone's Spring Break, and I believe it spanned from mid-March to end of April, since Easter is so late this year. I think the major Universities in FL were another week either earlier or later than ours. So hopefully we both have good crowds. :)
