Disneystore Sale

Thanks for the heads up! Might have to do some Christmas shopping!

How does everyone get around the ridiculous shipping costs? I wanted to buy a RunDisney training t-shirt, but it was going to cost me $50 in postage! For a $30 t-shirt :confused3

I waited til they had a big sale eg 30% off the whole order. Calculated my total shopping cart + postage pre deal and then with the deal and then calculated that meant shipping was really only $15... And justified it to my poor little credit card that way! I think a lot of those of us on here that shop disneystore.com actually have items shipped to their resorts and therefore avoid stupidly $$$ fees...

Once upon a time there was a great one at Garden City at Mt Gravatt... I've got z long time to wait before I can order anything and have it sent to our accommodation. But then again, we've got family in Montana... Still a long time to wait :(

bought 2x mickey cutlery sets while the sale was on, the 25% savings($30) helped pay some freight but it was still expensive- the freight was $66US for the two sets before taking the discount from the cutlery into the equation

For those in NZ, NZPost have started a new service where you can ship US goods to a US address then they will ship it on to you. This allows you to take advantage of the free shipping and NZ Post charges are cheaper cost me $40NZD to ship the rest of the way.
