Disneystore nearby Disneyland

I found a couple of story within a 10 mile radius of Disneyland.
I was wondering what is the best Disneystore nearby. The criteria for me are:

1. Easy to drive to (and easy to find);
2. Choice of products;
3. Store look and feel;

In My opinion there are 4 nearby choices:
- Main Place Santa Ana in Santa Ana
- Brea Mall in Brea
- South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa
- Los Cerritos Shopping Center in Cerritos

Do you want to specifically visit a Disney Store vs. going to World of Disney in DTD? The merchandise is different, but better.

In general, unless it's one of the flag ship store (e.g., New York, San Francisco, Chicago), I've found that pretty much all of the Disney Stores in an area generally carry the same merchandise. So in that sense, it probably doesn't matter which one of the four you opt to go to.

I've been to the one in Costa Mesa and it was a typical Disney Store.

@Girimama33 I'm in the area for 8 days. So I really want to visit a Disneystore nearby. I know the World of Disneystore is great but prices of the products are much higher then in the Disneystore and they carry some different merchandise. So the choice to go off site despite being the stores in DTD is what I really want to do.

I haven't been to the Disney Store in a while, but the best mall out of those is South Coast Plaza. A lot of high-end stores. And my second favorite is Los Cerritos. I would just look at the mall directories and see what other stores you might want to browse.

The SA Mainplace would be the closest. I would go there or Brea Mall.
If you want to check out some high end stores in addition, I would go to South Coast Plaza.

If you're there for 8 days and have a car, consider a trip to the Disney Outlet at the Citadel outlets.

I've been to the ones at Brea mall and Main Place. They pretty much had the same feel/look about them.

I've been to the Disney Store at South Coast Plaza and Main Place, of the two I would choose South Coast Plaza, the one in Santa Ana was a very small store!

There are a couple of different types of Disney Stores. Call each one and ask them if they are a Core store or and IP store. The IP (Imagination Park) stores are newer and have a very different feel than the Core Stores. IP and Core stores pretty much carry the exact same things, while the Outlets have a few different items and Park Merchandise.

Does this store receive merchandise from the parks and official Disney Stores? I live in FL and nearby WDW there is an outlet store that receives unsold, discontinued merchandise from WDW. Some things are marked down by 50% or more.

Yes, there is a parks section. It can be hit or miss how much parks merchandise is there at any time. They also change the discount on the "red tag" items every few days. Otherwise it seems like a regular Disney Store with regular Disney Store prices, but there is a small area with outlet only items, like they'll have a 2 for $25 t-shirt deal that will be shirts that are just for the outlet.

Just wanted to add that Citadel itself is great. We stopped on our way to Disneyland and honestly wish we'd allocated more time there. On our next trip we plan on going with empty suitcases and making it our first stop! We got some bargains on Levi jeans and Converse sneakers as well as some awesome (and cheap!) ice-cream! I've also discovered that there is a shuttle bus there from Anaheim, although it sounds like you'll be comfortable driving there yourself.
