Disneystore.com???

has anyone ordered from disneystore.com. I was just wondering does the price of shipping depend on the cost of your order? and also how long did the parcel take to be delivered.
There are a few items that i quite fancy but just wanted to know of anyone's experience of shopping with them from the UK

I was going to order with them but you actually have to speak to them to order to the UK, they don't have shipping options on the web.

The shipping for a kids swim suit, a towel and a couple of small items was $30 I think.

I have ordered from them and had no problems doing it through the website - just select International shipping. However, I was faced with quite a hefty import tax bill when they arrived - I think it was about £35, if I remember rightly, although it was luggage I ordered so quite a large parcel. I do believe the company they use for international shipping charges you the import tax each time though.

Thanks not sure if I'll order or not the items I wanted are quite cheap but with shipping and tax they aren't quite so good

I think it depends what you're ordering.

I ordered a load of clothes this summer and did it on line and picked International shipping. I was expecting another bill when it was delivered but didn't pay anything else?

It was 80% kids clothes so I don't think there's tax on that so maybe that's why?

I find shipping is exorbitant, but that may be different to the uk.

Here are some old, basic, informmation on packages to any county from the U.S. Old in that I use to mail packages mostly into Europe and a few other countries.
Postage, alone, derpends upon weight plus how fast you want it delivered. Express mail, airmail, prior mail, parcel post, surface, etc. Depending upon your choice it can range from about 5 days to over 30 days, or more.
Your tax charge is set by YOUR government and varies depending upon the item you are receiving. I am using these examples as examples only and are NOT correct. Disney pins, 60%, clothing 40%, wood items 30%, etc. etc.
To get the correct percentage of tax charges I would suggest that you write to your tax office and ask them the percentage. To save you some time you might ask them to quote a couple of items you might order in the future for reference purposes. You might ask if they have a printed list.
Check with who is mailing your package and they will give you the total cost of mailing the package the way and time you wish it sent. Remember that you will have to pay the tax when you receive it and it is not included in the postage costs.
These taxes can, or will vary from country to country.
You can now decide if you want to pay the total cost to have you items sent to you, or not,
