Ok, so Disney is offering free personalization and free shipping on personalized gifts right now. Awesome! We're doing a 12 person trip to WDW in January and I could buy some personalized shirts and things for everyone as Christmas gifts! They way it seems like it should work (and there's even a video describing this) is you choose your item, you choose the character you want on it, and then you choose the name to be put on it.
I have ordered personalized items from Disneystore.com before and it has always worked this way.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why the site isn't working like that. You choose a character and the site offers a very small subset of items (only one or two items for some of the rarer characters) with that character or it, or you choose an item and the site shows you every single variation of that item (for example, you click on "Hoodies and Jackets" and it gives you 209 results to go through, with Adult, Kids, and Infant items all mixed in together) with only a few character options.
Is this how it's working for everyone else, or am I just not getting the point of this? I just want a Pluto hoodie for my son, and a Grumpy hat for my dad, and a Cutie Eeyore bag for myself. And before the discount code expires, preferably.
