Has anyone ever ordered from this site? I was just on it and there are some fantastic deals but I am not sure they will ship to Canada and how much it would cost. Any info would be appreciated!

I've ordered many times, but never shipped to Canada. The shipping fees are outrageous, plus you will get dinged at the border for customs and duty. Even if the deals are really good, it might not wind up being a good deal. I've always had my orders shipped to Disney when we are heading there, or to a hotel if we are vacationing elsewhere in the US. Usually there is free shipping, or $5 flat rate lately, and then I can usually get away scott free at the border because it will fall into my duty-free allowance coming home.

The only problem I have had is finding room in my suitcase on the way home!!!

I have been ordering from disney direct for several years now though I've stopped now, it can get very expensive! I've ordered Christmas items and home items like bedding - I never order anything small as the shipping is always approx. 42US and then you get hit with DHL custom brokerage bill. Gotta make it worth it! It really is very expensive. They ship super fast and on average I have always received my order within 3-4 days. I've pretty much slowed down or stopped as we now go to WDW every year and I can spend the money there instead! If you have someone to ship to in the US it's worth it, otherwise no!

Yes very expensive. I ship to someone in the States and either pick it up when we go down. Or pay them to mail it. Much cheaper that way. But for big items like Mickey TV (which I think they do not ship anymore but I got mine there) 40.00 was not bad or the 20.00 fee from UPS because we could not get it here or would not be able to take a 20inch TV on the plane. So it can be good for specialized item but most economical to ship to states.

My GF got dinged big time on adult costumes. Was $59.99 on sale. She got 2 of them $120.00 US. After shipping, duty (about $20 or so) it ended up being over $200.00. Ouch! We now head to our local Disney Store and watch for sales. Last one was 50% off last ticketed price. Got lots of kids T-shirts for $5 each, a hoody for me for $18 (was $50) ball caps at $2. PLUS we had a 15% off coupon that the clerk was to use on regular priced merchandise, but she was in a good mood that day I guess. Never hurts to ask!

Would you just get your package shipped that you ordered on line to your hotel and they would hold your package for you until you arrived, how far in advance did they let you ship something . That would be great .
