Well here it is Christmas Eve and my Disney order hasn't arrived. I called customer service first thing this morning and they told me my boxes would arrive Dec.26. I ordered them Dec.12 and according to the web site as long as you ordered before Dec. 16 you were guaranteed delivery by Dec. 23. I am sooo disappointed!!! Luckily I have other things for our children. They let me file a compalint, but I didn't receive any explanation or even an "I'm sorry".

Bummed in Buffalo!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Everyone!!!

How awful!! I ordered something on Dec. 12 and got it yesterday but I was sweating it! I think 2 wks is an awfully long time even around this time of year. They say it's shipped FedEx to your post office and then your local post office delivers to you. Kind of stupid if you ask me. I hope you at least get the item free. What does "guarantee" mean in disney-lingo!! Usually it means "free if not as promised". Good luck and have a great holiday!

I placed an order on 12/16 and I received mine yesterday. Mine was shipped UPS though, not FedEx. I was upset that one of the items I ordered arrived broken, but I called Customer Service and they were going to send it out ASAP. Said I would probably have it Monday or Tuesday.

Sorry you didn't receive your order on time. That happened a couple of years ago to me also and when I emailed Customer Service, they gave me a 20% refund.

I would definitely raise a stink because we ordered our stuff on the 15th and got it on 22nd. I really didn't think we would get it in time but we did. My was delivered UPS.

If nothing else they shouldn't charge you shipping since it didn't arrive as guaranteed!! I ordered my luggage on the 13th and it got here on Thursday.

I ordered on the 12th, the tracking said it wouldn't arrive until the 26th, then the 24th, and then it did arrive the 23rd. I would call and complain, see if they could at least discount something.

I ordered ten pins and/or pin sets on the 12th, asking for (free) standard shipping. On the 19th they shipped it FedEx to my Post Office Box. On the 22nd I got a call from them asking for a setreet address so FedEx can deliver, but I will not be able to call them back before Wednesday the 28th.

If they had used Standard shipping it would have been AirBorne/DHL which, unlike UPS or FedEx, does have a "last mile" agreement with USPS and so I would have had the items by now.

Well, here it is Dec.26th and still no Disney shipment! :confused3 Oh well, the kids had a nice Christmas anyway!!! They said that it was the best ever actually! :cheer2: And they got a grand total of $220 in Disney Dollars to spend between the 6 of them on our upcoming vacation!!!! DH is planning on calling customer service in the morning to let them know how displeased he is with their service.

I hope that everyone enjoyed their Christmas!!!

Blessings,
Kim

Okay, I know for SURE that UPS was closed today, I'd assume FedEx was as well.
If you and your kids are happy with the presents they've gotten already, I'd refuse to accept/sign for the package if I were you. That way, you won't have to pay to ship it back.

I had a similar situation, but thankfully mine finally arrived on the 24th. Unfortunately one of the items we had for my son arrived broken (so I have to call tomorrow.)

DisneyShopping is now using FedEx to ship to the Post Office and then the post office to deliver to your home. This has greatly slowed down the process in some cases (as with my package, it sat in a sorting facility in another state for 2 days before they (fed ex) finally got around to getting it back out to the USPS so it could be delivered.)

I would definitely let them know how upset you are about not getting the order on time. The CM that I spoke with was fantastic and I was happy that the order finally arrived (they would have overnighted another one to me, but it was not necessary.)
Good luck,
Sue Ellen

I ordered on the 4th and it shipped the 7th -- but didn't get here until the 17th. It was just sheets and a lamp for DD's new "big girl" room (post crib) but I I thought the princess sheets would help her transition better. Can't believe how long it's taking ALL of their shipments...
