OK, I've read all about how people have had issues with Disneyshopping.com, and I agree with nearly all of them.
Unfortunately, there are no other outlets that we Disney Addicts can access but this website. That said, I AM PULLING MY HAIR OUT...Please help me calm myself.
OK, I always check the website on Monday mornings because their new promo comes out (also free shipping on pins). So today, I see exactly what I've been looking for (it's a brand new item BTW). It's the large disney pin trading bags PERSONALIZED and on sale AND an extra 30% off! YAHOO..right...WRONG!
I put it in my cart, do the personalizing, add some more pins, etc. all excited that I even did it in time for Christmas. Go get my purse, get my Disney Visa (have my rewards added too BTW to use) and checkout.
YOU GUESSED IT, it pulled all 4 of the bags out of my cart saying no longer available. I was absolutely P***ED OFF! So I call the 800 number, a really slow (being nice here) CM has no info. whatsoever. I talk to a Supervisor, again no help. Item is not on backorder, don't know if it is ever going to come in, etc.
Here it is. This item is BRAND NEW!! It shows in stock when I add it to my cart, and I did this very early this morning. What is going on? I told the Supervisor that I'm sure it will magically become available right when the sale is over. She told me that they don't adjust inventory for promotions, but this seems just too odd to me.
Needless to say, I am heartbroken. We are going to surprise our kids with our WDW trip in May on Christmas day, and this would have been PERFECT to do that with. OK, I'm calm now. I guess it is just a pin trading bag
What do you think is going on? Am I just suffering from "not getting what I want" blues or do I have a valid point. Thanks...I'm alright now
