Disney's WILDERNESS LODGE Information & Questions

Does anyone have a list of the current activities offered at the Wilderness Lodge? We are staying there at the end of this month and wondering what is offered. We stayed at Kidani at AKL two years ago and my youngest son enjoyed going to the wildlife talks and earning beads. He just asked me if WL has something similar. Thanks!

I have found them to be very undependable about sending invoices. They don't always get sent, as promised. You could call them again or try sending an email to:

We will be at BRV/WL in less than a month. Yeah!
I've been to the lodge a few times now, although this is the first time I've been when Geyser Point has been open. For those who have been recently, what are your favorite things? What is the fireworks view like from that area? I'm also assuming you can watch the Electrical Light Water Pageant from there?

The fireworks are great from behind GP! You are right along the water, so you have a perfect view of the Water pageant too! The food is actually pretty good at GP. Here are a couple pictures... Have a great time!

Also, forgot to ask, does anyone know how much the fireworks cruise costs that leaves from the marina at WL?

It is $286.60 with a DVC discount of I believe about 10%. It is good for up to 8 people though. We did one from Yacht Club last year to watch Illuminations and this year we are doing it from WL for the MK fireworks.

Thanks for the info! We are doing the Illuminations one this trip, and was curious about the MK one from WL.

We just checked in....our flight was late getting out of StL. I am in awe of our room. I love dark wood. We are all the way down, past Roaring Forks.....room 1003. This has to be an upgraded room. There were snacks waiting for us and about 8 cold water bottles in the frig. A beautiful gold leaf candy bar (I think), and extra toiletries. I’m pretty sure this is a suite. I’m so sad we are only here for one night before moving over to CBR for 4 nights. Also, I think they invited us to the Old Faithful Club! There’s a letter explaining the menu. Will we just have to go up to the 7th floor for this? I guess all the extra treatment is because it’s technically our first stay in the resort since becoming CCV owners?

I can't tell from the photos, do any of the pools offer shaded seating? Also, we are staying at WL, can we use any of pools or only the main pool?

Just packing to go to WL! Our first visit.
Do the rooms have an iron? Is it just 2 glasses and 2 mugs that are provided, is it a problem if any food is brought up to the room from Roaring Fork on a plate or a dish?
Sorry it’s that time when after all the months of planning a little anxiety creeps in.

Yes the rooms have irons and ironing boards. In general there are a few glasses, but there's no problem bringing food up from Roaring Fork. That is our favorite way to eat breakfast in the room as we all get ready.
I know how the anxiety can creep up, but soon you'll be walking into that beautiful lobby and all will be right with the world. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for that very helpful reply. Yes I think I will love the lobby!
