Over my spring break my parents are taking me to VBR. I been their once when i was like 7 and the only thing I remember is the waterslide. I'm 17 now and my parents are letting me plan the whole trip. What fun stuff is there to do? I really want to go on a jet-ski on the ocean with my dad. Whats your favorite restaurant or activity to do?

I just went in October. There really isnt anything fun for older teens unless there are people your age there. Of course, the ocean is nice. But there is a lot of activities for young kids. Stuff for people our age is really expensive. Jet-skiing is expensive, kayaking is expensive, snorkeling is expensive. There just isnt anything to do except the ocean. The restaurants arent great either. But the one on top of the main building has really good deserts, but they are expensive too. Everything there is just super expensive.

It's a nice resort.

The rooms are great. When we went last year we got a corner room with a pool AND ocean view. It was awesome. :goodvibes

As for things to do...there really isn't much for teens. You can go out on the beach and rent things down there. Like my younger sister got a boogie board and rode the waves for a while. Also, if you're there during nesting season you may get to see a few turtles. There's also a game room. I'm not a huge fan of going in the ocean (terrified of fish touching me....or having a run in with a jellyfish...or a shark...:headache: ), so when I get sick of laying around on the beach doing nothing that's usually where I go.

OH! And there's also a golf course like...really close to there. My sister and I went once...and got beat by a couple of 7 year olds. :thumbsup2

I bet you'll have fun!

Yeah me and my cousin both got stung by Portuguese Man o' wars. And a dead fish washed up on shore at high tide, and whenever I turned around that fish was always right next to us wherever we went. Like, we even walked down to another beach and it followed us.

I forgot about this though. THey have an underground walkway that leads to across the road, under the entrance, and across the road to another part of the resort. It has tennis and basketball, and I think there may be something else too. But they have mini-golf at the pool. And you can rent board games- I think its free.
