Disney's "untouchable" attraction?

What do you think is the one ride / show Disney will never change?

I don't think there is an attraction that they won't ever change at some point. I do think that despite the speculation, Carousel of Progress, will remain at WDW for a long time, since it was very important to Walt.

I don't think Splash Mountain will ever change because it's a classic ride. Everyone loves it. At least everyone I know. ::MinnieMo

Im thinking Dumbo, the Carousel and maybe the HM
LOL i know you asked for just one, but i'm not a good listener... :teeth:

Once upon a time, I would have said Pirates. Now we know that's not so. :confused3

I would have to agree Eljay. So my next vote would be for Space Mountain because it is to classic to Disney.

They're actually changing Space Mountain in late 2006 early 2007.. sorry. Carrousel of Progress will most likely (and sadly) be gone in 2007. It's the last of the "seasonal attractions."

Unfortunately EVERYTHING will be changed or demolished by the company due to non-nostalgic guests' lack of interest. Although the only thing they could change on the carousel would be a paint job and the music. (which they do update frequently)

I hope the C of P stays. It's one of Walt's classics.

The train will most likely remain unchanged, as well as Dumbo, Peter Pan, IASW, and the Carousel. I guess there is little they can do to the Liberty Bell, too.

I would have added PoC to this list before the PoC movies were made, though they did change that ride to include scenes from the movie.

The safari ride is classic, but I wouldn't mind an overhaul there. Same goes for the Swiss Family Robinson Tree.

IASW. Those creepy little dolls will be singing FOREVER!

They way you described this almost made me fall of my chair laughing. :rotfl:
But I do agree. I think this one will be around well after i'm gone!

It's a small world is a classic. It will be sad when all the "old" attractions are gone. I love COP and Jungle Crusie and Pirates. I was really dissappointed when i first heard that they were changing POC.

Like so many people said, everything will be changed. POTC was changed and I know 99% of the people that go there loved it. It's a small world was changed in 2004 or 2005. Also one day, long from now, splash mountain will be gone because they'll have something beter.

I would say the Carousel.

Small World just got done being rehabed. I'm not sure if it changed at all or not. I think everything's up for grabs, but I'd bet on the carousel having the lowest liklihood of significant change. BTMR might be a good candidate too.

So what WILL endure?? What attraction will still be there in 25 years??
