In 1986 NBC debuted a primetime special called Disney's Totally Minnie that was a hip and happening show featuring Minnie Mouse as she shows her pizzazz and style as she looks at the coolness of the 80's. Disney's Totally Minnie featured celebrity appearences by Phillip-Michael Thomas Elton John Vanna White and other celebrities as well as a cool upbeat soundtrack featuring songs performed by singers Karla Bonoff and Brenda Russell. It's really a shame Disney's Totally Minnie isn't shown on Disney+ because it's such a fun special about Minnie Mouse and her totally cool 80's style

I think with Disney's Totally Minnie Disney was trying to attract the girls market by having a Disney show about Minnie Mouse would help appeal to girls but the soundtrack is very 80's with a Cyndi Lauper vibe to it. But how Karla Bonoff got to perform on Disney's Totally Minnie i'll never know because she is talented
