Hi everyone :goodvibes

We have decided to stay at the Disney Swan in the middle of my holiday :) I have stayed at the Dolphin before but didn't have time to check out the Swan, have any of you ever stayed there? Any comparisons to the Dolphin? Room/bed sizes etc? I thought the bathroom at the dolphin was very outdated but the rest of the room had been recently done up :)

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks :grouphug:

We stayed at the Swan last April, previous to that we've stayed at the Dolphin on our last 4 holidays.

When we go back to WDW I would definately stay at the Swan rather than the Dolphin, the reason for this is mainly because it's smaller. The bedrooms are the same as in the Dolphin and the service is the same too. I think all the refurbishments at the Swan are fully complete so all rooms and bathrooms have been upodated. As you know the swimming pool are shared so that make no difference. The main reason we stay there is so we can walk to EPCOT and Disney Studios and the Swan is just ever so slightly nearer as you don't have to walk between the hotels ;) ;)

The only downside we found was there is no night time coffee shop/snack place situated in the Swan so after coming back to the hotel at night we generally wandered over to the Dolphin to pick up coffes/hot chocolates/ice creams etc.

It's certainly The Swan for us but in my opinion there really isn't much difference. You should try the Swan even if it's only to get a different view from your bedroom window :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Hi there :)

Thanks, i was thinking of maybe changing the booking to the Dolphin but i think i'll keep it with the Swan :) It'll make a nice change :thumbsup2

Thanks again :)

we stayed at the swan, but only for 2 nights at the end of our villa holiday, very nice hotel, but as said no snack shop to go to.

Both Swan and Dolphin are fantasic hotels with great facilities, would stay at either again
