I've seen photos, some videos. But has social distancing gotten any better??.
How about people wearing masks is that being enforce now, are the cast members orsecurity making people wear the mask.
As of right now, I would not go to Disney Springs. But I am hoping by my trip in September it will change. I'm also hoping for a vaccine. Who knows. Wishing everyone the best, stay safe:wave:

We just left Disney. I enjoyed my time in the parks and felt mask compliance was very good but did not feel the same way at Disney springs. Many people has their masks down below their noses or chins. Only one time did I see a Disney employee correct someone wearing their mask incorrectly. I also saw 4 families that were walking around with no masks on whatsoever! They were obviously told when they entered they had to wear them but somewhere along the way decided to take them off! I'm sure they got away with it for the rest of the night because employees there were not enforcing the mask rules. It was also much more crowded and harder to stay apart from other people than it was in the parks. Disney needs to step up enforcement at Disney springs in my opinion!!

I have been there several times. I feel like Disney is doing a phenomenal job in enforcing the issue. I felt safer there then any other place that I have ventured out too. Yes, there were some people that were walking around without following all the rules, concerning there mask. It was very easy to avoid those people. So enjoy and stay safe..

We are heading down in a few weeks and planned to take advantage of QS at Disney Springs, Polite Pig, etc... do you feel like these types of places were doing a better job at enforcing masks and physical distancing. Trying to decide if we should plan to eat on resort or at the parks and avoid DS unless it's table service. TIA

Although I love polite pig we didn't eat there this time (not because of social distancing- it just wasn't in our plans). I will say that the area outside of Polite Pig was often congested (in my opinion). We ate inside at City works (7/20) and felt very safe- in fact this was a pleasant visit to Disney springs...it was not nearly as busy as it was by the end of the week. We ate at Homecoming (7/24) one night (ate outside and our table was on the end so we felt pretty socially distant from everyone), we also ate at T-rex on 7/25. They did a pretty good job but soon after we sat at our table the table closest to us (was behind us and a little off to the side) was getting ready to leave and their young kids were up dancing and playing six inches behind our chairs for about 5 minutes. We kept our masks on. A manager came over to welcome us ( because we have a Landry's card) and we pointed it out and he immediately said something to the family. They told their kids to sit down and they left soon after. We ate lunch outside at Earl of sandwich on 7/26 before we left Disney property and felt they did a good job... although we felt disney springs itself was very crowded and our family decided we will not be spending much time at Disney springs in November for our next trip.
After we left disney property we drove to Jacksonville for some personal business and we're very disappointed with mask usage. Many people put them on immediately before walking into an establishment or wore their masks under their nose or chins while inside (including workers). We observed this in 2 restaurants and one hotel. All of these establishments had signs on the doors saying people were required to wear a mask to enter and in each business at least one employee did not have a mask on their face (they wore it pulled down below their chin)! Not surprisingly, no employees corrected the customers that were improperly wearing their masks.

Thank you for info. We are scheduled to eat at Homecoming and plan to request outdoor seating... going to try and mobile order from a few locations as well. Thank you again for your help. :)
