I just received the following e-mail from Disney regarding my questionning which resort is featured on the infamous commercial:

"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

We appreciate your interest, the current commercial on TV is the Disney's All Star Music Resort.
It's used to represent the value resort. This resort donot have a view of the Magic Kingdom. The
Contemporary Resort have a view of the Magic Kingdom.

That's exactly how it came; (typos and all!)
It's not the ASM; it's definitely POP because I was there is Aug. I e-mailed them back saying there's been a lot of interest in this room "decor" that maybe they should listen to Disney fans on what would work! A girl can dream, can't she?!

;)

No Kidding.........Thanks for asking them that question and getting back to us. I kinda figured it was a room done up just for the commercial.

I was at POP last week and that is NOT what the rooms looked like.

They're talking about the exterior view, not the room interiors. The resort shown at the end is the All-Star Music.

I'd be really shocked if that room interior actually exists.

I recognized the lamps they used as the same ones in the GF and that castle view from their "balcony" probably came from the Disneyland hotel in the Paris park. There's nothing in Orlando that would give you that close up of a view. I defintely believe the room was staged for the commercial.

 Interesting grammar there...has Disney outsourced these jobs overseas too? I've seen the commercial and I thought it was weird too how different aspects of several resorts were all mixed into the commercial. Maybe this family supposedly was staying in 5 different resorts on their trip? ;)

It never ceases to amaze me how varied and incorrect responses can be from Disney Reservations. Bizarre. I know there are tons of people working there but you would think there would be just one answer to certain questions that all the cast members could refer to.
