My adult daughter and I were in Alligator Bayou September 28-October3. We loved everything about this resort. I had stayed there many years ago and had forgotten how lovely it is. Yes, it is due for a refurb so I'm glad that is coming. But even as it is, it was wonderful. The rooms were surprisingly big. The greenery was beautiful. The mill was lovely and didn't feel like a food court at all. I enjoyed sitting and enjoying my coffee there every morning because the environment was just so nice. The food was good and having refillable mugs for the first time ever was fun and worthwhile. Pools were great. The one and only thing that wasn't fantastic was the shower water pressure is non-existent. Hopefully that will be fixed with the refurb. We actually saw a few rooms that seemed to be test or spec rooms being worked on? Windows were covered with paper, but we could peak in and see lovely changes taking place. Can't wait to hopefully come back and enjoy the resort again.
