I'm kinda shocked at the use of the phrase "grassy knoll", especially when its use includes reference to one of the 60's buildings.
Building 10 is really close to the bus stopWe are heading to Pop towards the end of the month, we stayed here during our first trip years ago and are so excited to be going back. When we stayed last time we were in Building 7 close to the late which was nice and quiet but it was a little bit of a hike to the bus stop.
I am not sure where to request, but am leaning towards Building 1 in the 50s ground floor standard room. Is this a good idea or can someone lead me in the right direction![]()
I think it's a great request!Do you think is a good request?
I agree that it's a great request! Now we'll hope that you get it!I sent a room request fax through Touring Plans for building 6, 4th floor, lake view, non-connecting room in the 70's section.
Do you think is a good request? I'm looking for a quiet room but not so far from food court and bus stop.
I think your request might be too specific. You've narrowed the entire resort down to about 18 rooms, maybe fewer depending on the trees blocking the lake view.I sent a room request fax through Touring Plans for building 6, 4th floor, lake view, non-connecting room in the 70's section.

The OP is using Touring Plans to submit her request. TP requests are very specific, right down to the exact room number you would like to request. I have used them with great success until my last couple of trips so what was submitted is common and Pop is used to receiving these on a daily basis.I think your request might be too specific. Other than the TP room request service, what is the second best way to put in your room requests? Fax or phone?
My last trip 2 months ago is the first time ever I didn't get my room request. I don't know if this is true, but Pop seems to be getting fuller over the years, especially this last summer, making it more difficult to filling people's requests. For one thing, before this year, the pool closed at 11 p.m. near August, then at 10 after Labor Day. This year, the pool stayed open till 11.The OP is using Touring Plans to submit her request. As long as it’s done about 3-5 days before your trip begins, it makes no difference. They won’t assign a room to your party until about 3 days prior to your trip, so as long as you have made any requests by then, they will have them. How far in advance should you request a room?
I'm three-and-a-half for four requesting a specific room. The half being we got a room two doors down from the requested room. The other three; exact room.I think your request might be too specific. I really wish Disney would let people select their own room and charge for it.
