I just rebooked our two week summer trip under the season pass discount and was able to keep standard room and saved almost $700! I was hoping a really good discount would be available soon. I initially didn’t notice the pass discount and checked my dates under the regular room only discount and standard wasn’t available. When I changed reservation online the season pass discount showed up and made my day!

Off topic : My daughter just arrived at MK today with her band for their one day in the park. She has never been an off-site guest and never had to wait until day of to book fast passes. She had never even seen the ticket and transportation center in all of her many trips (except off in the distance and she had never noticed it). This is a whole different adventure for her. Her first time going with friends. She is their “official” tour guide. She has waited for this day for at least 3 years! Their band won the Outback Bowl competition and got to do part of their halftime show before the game. She is floating off the ground she is so happy

I just checked our April check-in and Ground Floor is no longer available for Standard Rooms either. Looks like it has been removed from all room categories online. It can be requested by calling 1-407-938-4000.

Yes, all room categories will have the exact same options for room requests online.

I know my last trip (Feb 2018) I was able to request ground floor, actually I can't remember a time other than this were I wasn't able to request. Interesting that they removed that as an option online.

Yeah, after I quoted that post I went searching. It was the first I had heard that passholder rates might also be out! Of course, I know nothing other than "up to 40% off". I need to know what CBR and Pop are getting and then figure out if we can find dates with availability within our travel window!

Oddly enough it looks like my pop stay was about 25% off. It was orig $158 a night and I got $118 for weekday. I only expected 15% at best so I am beyond happy!

I'm happy! My sister and I were originally planning on going in January but decided to hold off to save more $$$ for the trip. Then we looked at our itinerary and decided to add a day of 'down time' so we could just go around the resorts, shop and swim as opposed to going to the parks. The money we saved on this sale pretty much paid for the extra night at the hotel. So yay! Disney here we come!!

We're heading down at the end of January for my daughter's bday. We really liked Pop when we stayed in a renovated room at the end of 2017, and honestly, with that resort having its own bus service the transportation is about as good as it gets. Once the gondola opens Pop is gonna be a no-brainer when it comes to booking a "value" resort. Our favorite place to stay is the Contemporary; mostly because of its location and ease of transportation, but also b/c of fond memories from previous trips. But, going forward if we're not going to be in the room often on a trip, and just want to save some money vs. a Deluxe I don't feel like we'd give up very much staying at Pop beyond the room size.

.....now we just need that gondola to open.

I know those are available but am certain I can put one together for a fraction of the cost. Plus I just want a little something. My sister would kill me if she had to bring back a lot of stuff.

On our trip in October I saw a couple leaving baskets at concierge that they were requesting to be delivered to guests. It didn't look like concierge had any problems taking them.

I check in Wednesday. I have requested a first floor room in building 6 via TP so we shall see what I get!
