Pago Pago is open.It looks terrible, honestly. Shouldn’t have bothered. Waste of $
So Tokelau closed though Oct 1? All DVC put in Moore’s then or is there another building option for DVC?

Pago Pago is normal dvc standard studios. I will say I think you’re in the minority with your feelings on the refurb. I’m waiting to see it in person but most reviews so far seem to be thrilled with it.Is Pago Pago DVC? I’ve never gotten Pago Pago in 10+ trips. Is it DVC or regular room being used for DVC right now?

Tokelau is my favorite DVC building. It is nicely located between the GCH and TTC. The Oasis pool is right next to it too. Moorea does have the laundry room but it is usually crowded and I end up going to the main one.Yeah, don’t like that building for exact reasons you cited.
On MDE it says the Oasis Pool Bar hours are 5-8? Is this accurate for anyone there now or recently? We were at BLT 2 weeks ago and the pool bar hours are 11-10 even though MDE says 11-7.
When I 1st saw home videos of dh swimming at poly in the lagoon with Donald Duck water skiing over to see the guests I turned green with envyThis era pre-dates me, but what a time this would have been to be at WDW….

I was trying to book at week at the Poly for the last full of week of January but there's nothing available - any idea why? No major events during that time, maybe it's because it was closed for so long.
It feels like Poly hotel room availability has been pretty thin ever since they revealed the room makeovers and opened reservations, no matter the time of year. An already popular resort now made even more popular with what is a generally well-received renovation (in contrast to what may not be as popular a renovation at CR?).
So I suspect it’s a combination of popularity, large numbers of people who aren’t traveling/can’t travel now but are rolling vacations or making placeholder reservations, etc. Poly CL (not an insignificant number of rooms) also doesn’t have a reopening date yet and we don’t really know how that room inventory is being handled. Presumably they could open Poly CL sometime next year and some with current standard Poly rooms would move their reservations to CL.
Just me speculating though.

Same for early March. I’m getting married at the Polynesian on March 8th. I booked our villa on our points a while back, but none of our guests can get rooms at all. Not even for a single night.
