I think $20 per carload is a no brainer for getting to resort dining, early morning character meals, and an evening of adult beverages

At $20 per ride, I might ride it once or twice for novelty but will still use Uber or Lyft for better priced options. I just hope WDW doesn't try to shut those down.

There is a huge percentage of people who will never use uber, the idea of getting in a strangers car and being at their mercy will always creep some people out. Many of these people are more likely to get in a Disney car with a Disney driver than Uber.

Yet another percentage of people are not tech savvy enough for Uber and lyft. While Disney intends for people to use the app to order a ride, I would imagine that for less tech savvy people, resort concierge and guest services will facilitate the process for some time

I can also see them offering this as a part of Packages in the future. Perhaps 2 rides when you book deluxe dining package, or 3 rides when you stay at club level, etc

Those that use Uber/Lyft to get everywhere during a trip are likely to continue to do so since it will be cheaper. Since I rarely have need for a car service at WDW, if I did, I am likely to use this type of a service. I doubt I would need to use more than once during a weeklong trip, maybe twice if I decided to do a round trip.

I can definitely see this working for families with those in boosters and car seats since it is more a game of chance with finding an Uber/Lyft to fit their needs.

I wonder if this would be a good option to get to MK especially very early? Maybe just be dropped at Contemporary and walk over. MK really stresses me out when not staying at Contemporary. We rent a car but getting to that park is just not enjoyable. And we refuse to do busses.

This would get me to use it.

What @mrzrich says above would definitely be me. Yes I know accidents can happen either way and both are technically strangers, but I just put more faith in a company owned fleet of vehicles.

Well, would you be ok with them dropping you off directly at the MK bus depot? It's not the Contemporary, but....

That would be amazing if it drops off at bus stop. I figured that wouldn't be an option. But if so fantastic!! I hope they start rolling these out. I see they are testing it at Yacht and Boardwalk? We are staying at Beach club so maybe they will expand to there by Feb!!

Actually, they are supposed to be up and running for everyone by the end of this month

This review says that Minnie Vans will drop you at Bus Stop 11 at MK, and will take you directly to your resort building if staying at a large resort like CBR.

This is seriously amazing!!! Im so stoked and I'll pay $50 a trip if it gets me to MK quicker LOL. I wonder how limited it will be though and wonder how far in advance we can book it.

I hope this means all hours too? Say we need to be at MK by 7:00am ... Hopefully they will be running that early to schedule :)

They will not shut down/off Uber/Lyft. Minnie Vans don't do what they do

First, Minnie Vans do not operate off property
Second, Minnie Vans do not operate all hours
Third, there are not enough Minnie Vans to service 100% of the guests that would need them if you remove all other forms of paid car transportation

I really wish people would stop worrying about Disney stopping Uber/Lyft service on property. It's not going to happen.

No, it's not all hours, there are hours for the service. I'd have to locate them again, because I read it last night and now can't remember what they are. But I did get me wondering about their running out of vehicles early mornings. I don't know how many they have
