we have booked DME and are staying at AKL
we are flying with Delta from Dublin with a 3 hour stop over in NY JFK Question when do I tag my bags Dublin or JFK

I know that on the way back I have to check in the bags myself cannot do this at the resorts airline check in

Hi

Unless you are going straight to the parks I wouldn't tag your bags at all. When we went in April we collected our bags as normal and placed them on our coach then we knew they were with us. Mind you we did have a four hour delay and did not arrive until 10pm!. Otherwise I would tag your bags either at JFK or when you collect them for the first time at Orlando. International travellers have to take their bags through customs then put them on the next belt to take them upstairs.

If you are travelling with Virgin you can check your bags in at Downtown Disney then just catch the coach.

you will have to pick up bags at jfk and go throught customs and security there.When you go to your transfer flight you can tag your bags before putting bags back on so when they get to MCO they go from plane to disney.But to be honest as it will be late when you get in have found not worth tagging,we get out bags again at MCO then take to ME bus.If doing this dont tag them as you will not be able to pick them up at MCO .As bags can take up to 3 hours to get to your room.ME is better for flights getting in early so you can spend all day in park and the bags are there when you come back.But if an evening arival you will be waitting for them to get to you
