Disneys Mag Mile parade in Chicago - tips and tricks?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely day out there on the Mag Mile, but IMHO, the parade is completely overrated.

Where have you been????

I have to agree. We did it, because it was a family outing, the kids liked doing the train, the food, etc etc - but it *is* over rated.

CR - I've been around, hanging on the CB. We don't have a trip planned and going to the other threads just makes me sad
