My 4 YO loves this new show on the Disney Channel....anyone else have kids who enjoy this show? They do an nice job of showcasing different composers and a little history of where the composers were born, their music, etc., but it's in cartoon form. The 4 children go on a "musical" mission each episode in their magic rocketship.

My 13 month old loves it too...........but not as much as my 12 year old daughter and 33 year old hubby. :rotfl2:

my 3 year old is obsessed with this show. loves it.

I taped it once for my 1yo, but he wasn't interested. My 4yo showed some interest so maybe I should record it again. I'm trying to get him off his Power Rangers kick.

DD6 and DS2 both love this show. We ended up buying the DVD and have DVR'ed the episodes. DS loves the beginning song! :teeth:

My DS really loves this show! It gives me a few minutes to do my chores during the day because he just sits completely still to watch it.

DD3 Loves this show so much we started TIVOing (is that a verb now?) the show, I just love the music. She gets so happy when its on.

DS (4) loves it! There are only 3 or 4 shows that I could call him a regular watcher of and they're all educational. I think Little Einsteins does the best job of inspiring him to learn more after the show is over. Yesterday he asked me about Egypt, the Sphinx and the desert after seeing them on the show. When they're over he wants to learn more and of course that makes me excited.

The sad part is we didn't start watching it until mid October. We saw the Little Einsteins at MNSSHP Sept. 30th but we didn't know who they were. I wish we'd taken a picture with them but we were hurrying and skipped them. I also checked our Disney Store for merchandise or DVD's but they didn't have anything. Does anyone know if there is anything out there to buy?

Both my ds5, and my dd2 like this show, when we get to see it (usually heading off to school right in the middle of it). I was starting to wonder about Playhouse Disney programming after they introduced the DoodleBops (which I can't stand), but I really like this one. One episode, they showcase music by the composer Dvorak. I am in a local orchestra, and we play one of his pieces. My ds heard it on the show and said "Mommy, that sounds like what you play!". :teeth:

DS (6) & DS(4) have both adopted it as part of their weekend morning routine. I like the classical composer & art tie-ins. DH says it reminds him of Dora because of the missions.

Good thing we get both Disney East & West programming via satellite - DS 6 gets upset if he misses part of the show by sleeping in on weekend mornings.

We can't stand the Doodlebops either!

That's great that your son recognized your music!

I just watched part of the one show we had taped which was the halloween episode. They were sneaking past the guard at Buckingham Palace to go Trick-or Treating! :rotfl2:

My 22 month old loves this show. We watched it the first night Disney aired it. That night I got my DD to pat both her legs to get the rocket going so now every time she watches the show she pats her legs to help Rocket and she is starting to do Blast off. :rotfl:

Fantastic show! Both my boys, 4 and 2, love it! We bought the DVD when we were in Disney a couple weeks ago. FYI, if anyone bought it, there's a passport in the CD case. If you register the number on the website, and take the passport into a Disney store, you get little prizes. My boys got a bunch of Little Einstein tattoos that they love. This show really took the Disney channel out of its recent slump (Doodlebops, Charlie and Lola). We're now anxiously waiting for Disney to release a version of the rocket or any other related toys!

We just watched another episode today - one where they learned about Whales and the sea.....I really do like this show - - -

DD 3, loves this show. She hears the Mozart music and remembers it from Baby Mozart. I like it too since it is educational.

My boys, 4 and 5 love the show, but especially my 4 y/o. I call it 'kiddie crack" He's almost obsessed with it. I've recorded about 10 episodes from our TIVO onto a DVD. I really have to watch the amount of time I let him watch it. My kids like to play their games and activities on playhousedisney.com.

The other night I was driving down the street, and he said "Mama, why are you going adagio ? You need to go allegro! And when he wants me to drive faster he pats his hands on his lap. Its really cute. Its neat to hear them pick up melodys they learn on the show, like "Hall of the Mountain King" which was on a lot of commercials around Halloween.

I love this show and so does my 2 yr old DD. I didn't know you could buy the DVD. I'm looking around for that for her for christmas. It really is an awesome show. And we love Charlie and Lola too. :teeth:

I love watching this show with my 2.5yo son. He also has a Leapfrog book with the composers and their music.

My 14yo dd plays the violin for him and I think he wants to start playing, too.
