Disney's High School Musical show

Hi there,

Has anyone heard or seen anything at WDW regarding High School Musical? I had read last month on this board that there was a possible show coming to MGM. My DD9 would be totally thrilled to see something like that for our trip in October. She is not into the princesses anymore.

I believe it is supposed to take place at Magic Kingdom in Tomorowland. You might try to PM AngieBelle or Joanna71985. I believe they both work in Entertainment at WDW and might have more up-to-date information.

Guests will learn fun cheers and cool dance moves from High School Musical's hit songs and participate in a rocking finale version of We're All In This Together. DS6 will love that. He loves the music so much. I am sure the kids are going to get really into it! Great idea. I think it would be awesome if the could offer an abbreviated show based on HSM at maybe Disney Studios. I normally not one for shows, but I would love it, the music is just do darn catchy!

Just so everyone knows, the HS Musical Pep rally show is at MK in Tomorrowland, not at MGM.

My 4 year old will be so excited! His Montessori teacher play the sound track every now and then in the class and he talks about it all the time.

YESSSSSSSSSS! We'll be there 10/23 - 10/29. Sounds like it will be up and running then! My kids - especially my DD(6) - will be thrilled! I think I'll keep it a secret for awhile. shhhhhhhhhhhh!

Has anyone heard the rumor it is being made into a Broadway Play???? I looked on line and could only find a local theatre group in Georgia (I think) working on it.

Oh, I feel your pain! DD 6.5 is determined to listen to "Bop to the Top" on the soundtrack until she knows all of the words, including the Spanish ones. I've discovered that listening to it 4 times in a row in the car is my personal limit!

I'm very excited about the new pep rally, though. I'm going to try and keep it a secret from DD -- boy will she be surprised when she sees it!

The movie premiered in the UK last night on the disney channel & my DD went over to a friends to watch it, she said the whole school had been talking about it
Has anyone got a date for when it starts & where in tomorrwland it is & what time?
