Disney's Enchanted

We just returned from a private screening of Disney's Enchanted. What a great movie for the whole family!!! Of course they slipped in the adult references too...way to go Disney! I enjoy "parody" humor...and being a Disney fan...movies just don't get any better than this!

So you would say this is good for a 5 yr old? I wanted to take DS5 & DD2 & of course DH to see this on Friday but now DH noticed it was PG so we weren't sure. I don't think DS would pick up on any "adult references" so I think we would be good but what do you think? Friday is my b-day & I told DH I wanted us all to go see this. I told a friend today what we were planning & she said you know you're a mom when you want to see a Disney movie for your birthday!

There are a couple of scenes that *may* frighten a 5 or 2 year old...depending on your child of course. Also a kiss here or there. Oh, and there is mention of adult relationship "issues"...but probably nothing that they have not heard or seen before. Most of the adult humor though is right over a younger viewers head. We took dd8 and choose to leave dd3 and dd2 at home. I'm glad we did because we were able to relax and enjoy the movie. I can't tell you how much dh and I enjoyed it...but then again we both love classic Disney, parody humor and Patrick Dempsey!

Enjoy the movie! We sure did and cant wait for it to come out on dvd to watch it and catch things we missed the first time!
