We are only in a standard studio so I know there aren't very many of them in inventory and none on a high floor per say, but I did ask for the highest floor in my booking category facing toward the MK.

What's more important; high floor or facing MK? There are only six standard studios facing MK; two each on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. I feel like a request for "high floor" is going to make your request extremely difficult to accommodate.

Well I knew there weren't many and it would be a lower floor room, but I asked for the highest floor in my room category. I really just don't want to be on the 1st floor.

While not all that efficient, you need to take the elevator down to the 2nd floor and check in there, then back up when they text/call your name.

I mean, it’s worth asking the CMs - there are backstage stairways that go up there and maybe they can wave some magic with the elevators. But generally speaking other than unique situations, CG is really only set up for the 2nd floor check in, so hard to avoid having to head down. At least in my experience.

That is the Atrium Club level on the 12th floor with at Bay Lake view ( the new Resort view... Ha..Ha). You can always tell the floor number by the adding the first 2 number of the room to indicate the actual Floor number.

Gotcha. I was on the 10th floor. I couldn't tell you the room number but it was definitely the same area.

Also, just curious. Do the characters still announce the floor on the elevator when you reach your destination? I distinctly remember being amazed by that as a child.

I’m pretty sure when we were there last summer they were still doing the character voices on the elevator. I’ve always loved that!

Hi! I just booked garden wing water view for my 40th birthday! On touring plans room finder everything shows up as garden view. Does anyone know where I can find an example of what we might be looking at? I tried googling and nothing really came up.

Garden View became Water View, and Standard View became Resort View. So the rooms you see on there as Garden are the category you're booked in.

I’m trying to do online check-in for our August trip, but it’s not letting me add a card to move on (I click the add card button and literally nothing happens). I’ve tried different browsers over the past 2 weeks or so. Anyone else come across this issue? I’ve also don’t see where I can request a preference for my room (high floor, etc). Did that go away? Thanks!

If I can’t do online I do in the app instead. I have had that card glitch many times.

The options for requests sucks lol. Call to add or some have mentioned using chat feature. I haven’t tried that yet.

Any specific room recs for a 2 bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower? We're a month away from our trip and it has been at least 10 years since we've stayed at Bay Lake (or around the MK resorts!).

Which view did you book? There are a few Lake View rooms with a partial view of the park and fireworks. They are the north facing even numbered rooms.

Lake View - I'm thinking we want a higher floor with a 10 or 12, right? My daughter would enjoy seeing the water pageant show, I think.
