I'd start by taking a look at the BLT Rooms and Views thread (I think/hope this is the right link -> http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082) to give you an idea of what different locations can offer (inside C vs outside C).I have a lake view room ( Bay Lake Tower) booked for the first 7 nights in May, are some of the room locations better than others? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I hope a room opens for you.
We booked BLV. I sent a quick email to the IPO today. Thanks for the good wishes. I'll check in when we return.![]()
You've been missed
When is your spring break? Keep checking for availability - don't give up!
You can link your reservations by calling Reservations. You can also book a Bay Lake View Tower room which is cheaper. Any room on the same floor of the Tower is pretty close to each other. So even if you booked different Tower views, you could have your reservations linked and request to be on the same floor, but adjoining rooms can't be guaranteed, even if you book the same view. You will, however, be guaranteed the same floor and same side of the Tower if you book an Atrium Club room with the same view.
Great choice and our favorite view. Many like to request a "high floor" which gives a more commanding view. All the rooms have unobstructed views and balconies, so there really isn't much to request in the Tower. Some on the TPV side like to request an odd number room so they'll be facing toward the MK while in bed. Room on the BLV side that are odd face toward WL/FW/Epcot.I have a lake view room ( Bay Lake Tower) booked for the first 7 nights in May, are some of the room locations better than others? Over on the WL thread I thought I'd stir the pot and recommend a nice split stay for you. An old favorite is always good, but a new resort is exciting and the Tower views are amazing and it's great walking right to the MK. We'll be in a Tower BLV room for spring break, but we've done a BLT and a CR-WL split before.Hi Kook! Love the new forum! It looks like we're planning to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in WDW in 2016. We're trying to decide to either go back to WL (we love our stay last year) or CR (our 1st time there). So excited!
What AKL view did you book or are you CL?It's been strange not being on the Dis for a while. I've definitely missed you!!!We are going up March 14-18, so far nothing is available at CR. You know I will keep checking!! But luckily the kids have decided AKL is their second favorite and that is always much easier on the wallet than CR anyway

There are boxes that you can check to receive notifications. They are in your user preferences and beneath each thread you post. Having said that, nothing has worked for me and I've yet to receive any email notifications since the board migration. Finally found the thread again. I hate not getting email notifications. Maybe now that I posted again I will get alerts at least. I need to keep up on all the news for our May visit!!!
Thank you Melissa for your sweet message! I can still remember the very first time I rode the monorail and it went through the Contemporary. Since then I've always dreamed of having the chance to stay there. Can't wait!Hi Ginny my friend!!! I missed seeing you at Food & Wine last year. Oh you are going to love BLV!!!! We loved having the best of the best of both worlds when we stayed CR CL!! I cant wait to get back there, it is my kid's favorite resort! And you have to make it down to The Wave for key lime eggs Benedict, sooo delicious! The Wave is our favorite breakfast spot in all of WDW!! Have a fantastic time!!!

Thanks for the well wishes and appreciate the info. But how can someone reserve them though? I've never seen it offered on the Disney World website. The chances of getting upgraded to a suite is pretty low. For one, people do reserve them, and they are often all sold out. It's more likely that you'd be upgraded if you are only staying for a day or so than it is to be upgraded to a suite for a full week. Miracles do happen on occasion, but I'd go into this embracing the idea that you'll get the Club Level TPV standard room - this way there's no disappointment if the upgrade doesn't happen. That room is wonderful, and you can have a beautiful and romantic time in it. Best wishes for a wonderful anniversary!

Hello everybody, I have a very important question to ask you guys. First some background: Me and my girl are celebrating our 5 year anniversary at the Contemporary Resort on 10/17-10/24 of this year.
Originally I purchased the standard Theme Park View but on YouTube I saw what the 14th Floor Suites look like and changed my reservation to the Theme Park View - Atrium Club Level. I made sure to tell the Cast Member over the phone about our anniversary, that I'm requesting one of the 14th Floor Suites and even specified the Room Numbers. She said that there's no guarantees that they'll be able to give us a suite and I said fine, as long as they tried, I'll be happy and if we don't get it, I'm not going to let it ruin our vacation. I've already paid the full amount for our package but I'm not sure of my chances in getting one of the 14th floor suites. I checked Disney World's website again and shockingly, the Tower Club suites weren't listed at all.
My questions to you guys are as follows: How come the Tower Club Suites aren't listed on Disney's website? How good are my chances in getting a 14th Floor Suite? And if I magically get one, will they have me pay a difference? And if so, what would the typical difference be? Are there any tips that could possibly increase my chances of getting a 14th floor suite? And when it comes time to do the Online Check In, should I make the request again? Sorry for the plethora of questions, I'm hoping to make this as romantic an experience as possible for our anniversary you know. Anyway, I'll appreciate any info you guys can give me, thanks.![]()

What a SUITE anniversary present!
As was posted, you must call the CRO/WDTC/TA to book Tower Club Level rooms and suites. Tower Club level rooms aren't a requested location, they have to be booked to guarantee you'll be on that floor. Non-DVC suites that are on Club Level floors, aren't bookable online.
The 14th floor is called the Tower Club Level, however, on your confirmation, it may read "STANDARD CLUB LEVEL," whereas an Atrium CLub level room will read, "ATRIUM CLUB LEVEL." If your reservation states "Atrium Club," then you have booked the 12th floor, which does not have any suites. You will need to book the 14th floor Tower Club level if you want to book a suite. There is also a one bedroom suite in the Garden Wing. This suite can be booked online because it isn't located on a Club Level floor, though it does come with full CL access.
There are 11 suites on the Tower Club Level and there are also 5 non-suite rooms. Of the 5 non-suite rooms, 2 are King rooms, both with TPV and 3 are Queen rooms: 1 BLV, 1 TPV and one HA. On average, the Tower Club non-suite rooms cost a bit less than $50 more per night Vs. an Atrium Club room.
The CL chapter of the thread (hyperlinked in POST 1) has links to Tower Club photos and a Tower Club room number map.
If you are in fact booked on the Atrium Club level and you want to change to the Tower Club Level or make any changes or inquiries at all regarding your booking, you'll have to call the Walt Disney Travel Company/Central Reservations or your TA, if you booked through one. The WDW Reservation number is: (407) 939-5277. The IPO doesn't handle changing or making room reservations. So call them at the info below right?
