No, the online check-in options are very limited. I would call in those types of requests. Although, I'd advise against requesting an actual specific room number, that's a bit risky. In that past at CR I have requested a range of room numbers to give the room assignor something to work with.

You can request a room to the north or closest to MK, since those are further away from CM. I am trying to remember the address of the website that shows the views from different rooms, because it gives recommendations on what to request. But in absence of that, GADisneyDad's recommendation of calling directly is a good way to go.

How noisy are the rooms in the Garden Wing by the pool? We're going during Marathon Weekend, so we're going to have a lot of early nights, probably in bed by 8 pm or so.

Getting very excited for our first stay at the Contemporary! We'll be there Aug 6-12!

We'll be staying in a Lake View studio October 3-6, I happened upon three nights in a row (when a bunch of other DVC resorts were available too for some reason) so I thought might as well check out our DVC home for real! Walking back from the Halloween party is gonna be a lot nicer than waiting around for transport at the end of the evening. To get back from Epcot in the evening, the monorail is the only way back, other than taxi/uber, correct? Thanks!

I am so excited to be staying CL at the contemporary August 5th-11th! We are staying atrium CL with a TPV...and surprising our kiddos. Almost two weeks out and I feel like I could burst. Two questions: We are planning to arrive late morning on the 5th and chilling at the pool, riding the monorail, exploring, and then dinner at O'Hana. Can we leave our luggage there or should we keep it in our car? I assume there are safes in the room?? Thanks.

tell me about Garden Wing rooms with standard view. I booked a one night stay before my BLT stay and just want to know what to expect. How far away are you from food, the pool, monorail etc? I have only been in the Contemporary while on the monorail, so I have no idea about logistics of how far of a walk everything would be from my room.
Also, how many pools do the Contemporary and BLT have? I have already booked my cabana (spoiling myself for my birthday) and I think I remember it is at the bullseye pool..but how many more are there? I assume at least 2.

If you're walking, there is a security station on the path to the MK. Since it's only for people walking from CR/BLT, it's great! Rarely crowded, super convenient.

For the monorail, you go through security before going up to the monorail platform.

Also, how many pools do the Contemporary and BLT have? I have already booked my cabana (spoiling myself for my birthday) and I think I remember it is at the bullseye pool..but how many more are there? I assume at least 2.

For the CR pools, there are (I think) four cabanas, two at the main/feature pool and two at the bullseye pool... I circled them in the pic below. There might also be two in the other two corners of the bullseye pool but I'm not sure (just can't quite remember). I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Also FWIW, I am pretty sure you book these by location. I just made a reservation for an upcoming stay and the CM asked which pool I wanted.

@Regan117 knows the CR cabana situation better than me and can help if I've botched any of this info.
