Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I have a February BB at Boardwalk CL but will probably cancel it. I'm seriously considering a Celebrity cruise and I've never cruised before.
I have switched over from Royal Caribbean to Celebrity and I really like it. Service is excellent. I used to do longer Disney trips; now I do more cruises with shorter Disney trips. These days Disney can be exhausting no matter where you stay and 4 nights is usually enough for me.

Yep, completely understand. Somehow Disney has managed to take the fun away from vacation. I have a February BB at Boardwalk CL but will probably cancel it. I'm seriously considering a Celebrity cruise and I've never cruised before.
This was completely unrelated to Disney itself; it was another guest. I need to get over it! But it is hard to justify the increasing cost to do Disney the number of times per year I used to!

When staying CL, I quickly get appetizer fatigue. I like a full three/four nights to get all the rotations.
Then maybe a split stay with no CL. Staying longer than 3-4 nights gets to be too much.
I hear ya, especially if you’re picky! 🤭 We actually had CL booked for our full stay next trip, but I (somewhat reluctantly) dropped the last 3 nights. We are doing a split stay with a non CL room.

Looking forward to a Poly CL stay over NYE. Does anyone know what time the CL beach/fireworks set-up starts on NYE?
Thanks!

Wow, the lunch spread at the GF RPC puts other club level lunches to shame! Got chicken noodle soup, a sourdough with I believe tomato, chicken salad, and strawberry soup. This is only some of the offerings, they also have tea sandwiches and the normal crudite and chips and stuff. This is dangerous, we might have a new favorite hotel here :rotfl2:

Sounds the same as we had in September. It absolutely puts packaged chips to shame. And yes, it’s my new favorite too. Unfortunately, can’t justify more than 2 or 3 nights. :worried:

Question for you CL pros…..

Chilled water in bottles or pitchers?

I’m inclined to have everyone bring a reusable water bottle because that’s how we roll but if only bottles are available……

If you’re asking what is available, it varies depending on the resort. Some have grab and go bottles, some don’t.

It’s 10000% my favorite, but the prices!! I try to work it in 1-2 times/year, but my stays are always short.

The resorts we’ve done in the last year (YC, CR Tower Club, WL & GF) have all had bottle filler machines in the lounge. So you could definitely refill your own water bottle. GF & YC had small disposable water bottles in the fridges, but they were sometimes gone. I don’t remember if CR had them. WL had a refillable bottle available in the room to use. We didn’t use them, so not sure how well they keep water cold.

CR has small water bottles available. One of my trips they kept running low bc some families acted as if they were going grocery shopping and cleared them out. My last two trips I noticed them being very good about keeping the water bottles well-stocked. We’d always grab one on our way out of breakfast and take them to the parks. They also have the water refill station there with cold, bubbly and standing water.

Happy December everyone!

Has anyone ever done connecting rooms at BWI CL with one room being one of the deluxe rooms and the other a standard room?

If so, did that standard connecting room have a king bed or 2 queens. Hoping for the 2 queen option since I think we might be 10 people total for this trip.:goodvibes

Thanks!!

We have never done this but there are (4) of the Deluxe CL rooms, each connecting to a 2 QB CL room. Two (2) on the 3rd floor and two (2) on the 4th floor due to the way the Deluxe room are located on the (2) floors.

Please note that connecting rooms are not guaranteed.

Okay great! Thanks!

Be proud. My sister tried to entice me into a trip next week (some BB availability even now!) and I declined. Looks like I’ll apply my BB to a CR CL for the end of FARTS - I saw there is an AH the last night and since I’ll be in FL already and with all the gift card deals also available right now (fiddly but that’s ok for 15% savings), I may go for it. Cheaper all around. And wouldbe even more so if I ever get off my high horse about CL! Naaah.

Sorry I missed this. Actually the beach area is set up early. Last many years they do an early fireworks for lil kids! Here is schedule this year. It’s 7:30 this year. I loved getting this extra firework!

Later in the evening they usually have a bar set up inside the roped off area. Make sure you get wrist bands from the cl desk in Hawaii both 30 and 31! It’s great you get it all 2 nights.

They did change from ice cream to Mickey bars recently but they are upon request so grab one and head outside if needed!

Wow sure is quiet here. Probably because January CL rates are insane! I can’t believe rooms are $800 up for deluxe IN JANUARY.

Cl even higher!

I will never go with dd for a race trip in January. Costs way too much and can’t enjoy the trip with the cooler temps.
