Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

This June? That’s too bad! I’ve seen posts on fb from the last few weeks that seem like they’re still offering these same items, but I guess there is always variability and reasons they may switch things up or be unable to provide certain items.
Glad you got the chips though, yummmm!
Yup, this June. They also had very limited offerings for the hors d'oeuvres service compared to other club levels while I was there, so maybe it was just an off week.

This is definitely more my speed!! (Minus the peppers!) Looking forward to it!
Unfortunately, no change in AKL evening, dessert or breakfast offerings.

On another note, my DS got very sick yesterday, not food poisoning just a tummy bug it seems. The AKL CL staff have been AMAZING. Shout out to Myles!!! I was almost in tears how much they have genuinely cared about him and have done everything in their power to help him. When we get asked on this thread, is CL worth it? These are the moments that it will always be worth it.

I’m not sure what the difference is between the AK ones & the homemade ones we’ve had at YC, CR & GF? They’re pretty much kettle chips to me.

I think they're the same ones. These were prevalent in most CLs pre-covid and we always loved them. However, we haven't seen them since the reopen. We seem to never stay at YC so I wasn't aware of their offerings. I was at AKL in July and BWI in Aug and they still had the prepackaged stuff. So the change was a pleasant surprise.

Feel better soon. Glad the staff is being so helpful.

We’ve had them at YC, CR & GF over several trips the last 2 years. They all had the prepackaged ones too, but definitely had the homemade ones. Hopefully all the CLs have them now.

Myles is great!! The staff, especially the crew that has been there for years, are amazing. So happy they were so good with your son! Hope he’s feeling better!

That’s disappointing there no other changes, but I do love the addition of the homemade chips, though! They were my go-to snack, along with carrots & ranch, back when we only stayed at WL CL years ago. Something to look forward to!

Not really ridiculous since CCV is a separate business entity, and well BRV is another DVC why on earth would BRV guests qualify?

You might argue that Cash guests at CCV might have the option for a CL add-on but no it was asked about when the CL add-on was first offered years ago.

Dave
For years BRV was called The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge...

CCV rooms are literally in the same building and are sold as the CCV at Disney's Wilderness Lodge...

My view is maybe different, but for those guests who have already dropped five figures (or more) on a product with Disney, why exclude them from an offering they may wish to partake. Especially if that same offering is available as an add on to customers who are spending/have spent considerably less with the company.

I understand there are separate business units, each with their own obligations, but I would find a way to work it out...

Notice I am not saying create a CL product for DVC members... Just let them purchase the same add on that all the other WL guests can have.

Just to put this unique offering in prospective. The WL CL add-on is a very limited offering. It is only available at the WL and it is the result of the capacity that was freed up by the CL rooms that were removed from the CL inventory with the creation of the CCV DVC.

While no specific number of rooms have every been identified for this add-on offering, about 36 rooms were remove from the CL total number of rooms.

They actually did create a CL for CCV/BRV/DVC guests when CCV first opened for an additional cash fee! The lounge was at Reunion Station. It didn’t last long.

Reunion Station was a purpose built space. It opened in April 2018 with lots and lots of promises but never found any solid traffic from DVC guests willing to pay extra for food.

Due to its location, an outside trip was required for CCV, and BRV( formally VWL for @Cfabar1 ) owners / guests. The originally intent was great for a DVC Community Center but they went too far by trying to offer food for a fee. A continental breakfast in the morning, snacks, and drinks in the evening. It finally closed for good in September 2020 in the COVID era.

Well, looks like I’m now only going in Nov, so I am no longer a grown woman going to WDW twice in one month ;). Dec was with my sister and niece, it was planned many months ago, passholder rates and everything. My niece found out yesterday she has a dance thing on the Saturday afternoon of our December party weekend, and she’s insisting on doing it - actually, she wants my sister to take her to WDW for Friday for the xmas party, then get up at the crack of dawn to drive home for the dance thing. Hardly worth it for me to go all the way back across the country to see them for a night. My sister is pretty upset, I feel bad for her, she may come crash with me for a night in Nov when her ex has the kiddo. I can at least extend my Nov stay now and bounce my flights to my April 2026 trip. And work is really nuts in Dec, so better all around for me to stay longer in Nov as opposed to going twice. Should be very relaxing. GF rates are absolutely stupid even discounted, so hopefully the timing is right for lobby/tree.

Chronos Club at Coronado bumped up their lunch offerings early this year. They were pretty minimal in 2024. In March 2025 when we were there, their lunch offerings included a rotation of:
Mini sandwiches (ham I think?)
Homemade corn chips, guacamole and pico de gallo
Pan con tomate and stuffed peppers
Along with the traditional cheese, crudités, and snack foods. Oh, they also added a variety of cookies.

Can’t wait to be back in January 😁
We had the same offerings during our April trip to Chronos Club - considerably more mid day offerings than our past trips to Yacht and Beach Club(we've done both). I was really excited since the mid day experience is always meh in my opinion.

I agree about the rates! I've been last two Christmas seasons to GF. Can't
justify it this year -- prices are out of hand. Got a very good Swan rate for a few nights.

It is insane. I’m stalking for another option (I would love to switch to BWI), but the only backup availability I can see is CR, and I am not a fan of taking that elevator at the holidays. People get pretty cutthroat. I am saving a little with getting rid of Dec, but not a whole lot.

ETA - you know what annoys me? I am going in the middle of Nov, not Jersey week, not Veteran's Day, not Thanksgiving. Decorations will maybe just be going up, and not everywhere. And there are zero weekend discounts then, even though from my own experience, it tends to be less insane than December. Sometimes I wonder if they do this to "encourage" crowds to attend in December, to give the CMs a minute to breathe beforehand (lighter work schedule, lighter staffing) and/or to get everything set up and good and broken in in the resorts and parks. Or maybe they are testing to see whether some idiots (like me) will pay rack rates on weekends. Admittedly, I haven't paid rack rate at GF in years, but it annoys me that I'm paying more for my room for those 2 nights than I paid for a suite with my mom in May (midweek, BB).
