Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I’ve heard on Facebook that when GF had the gingerbread house/treats they would offer a special ordering service for the treats for club level guests so they didn’t have to deal with the lobby lines. Does this exist at other CLs? Specifically WL or CR?
I am not aware of this offering being available at any other CL but like most things, it is always the same until they try something different. I have only seen the offering in the lobby for the other resorts.

So, they've done away with the soup / scones / snacks that they set out mid-day?

I knew the tea trays were a trial of sorts but I thought there was something beyond packages of chips around lunch time
They definitely had more out this time. Soup, fresh bakery treats, cruditeé, plus the packaged chips.

I asked someone about the scones and how the info was circulating online that they were trying them out again. The CM said that the uppers saw the it circulating, and shut it down until the tea room reopens. Who knows if there’s truth to it.

Well you’re in for a real treat with the renovated lounge and rooms. I don’t recall having any bad feelings about the prior lounge, but I look at my old photos and am like…”oh…”. lol. 🤣
Can't wait! We loved it every other time we've been there - but it's a big gap!

they had really soft, beautiful scones back in 2020 and I was hoping for those again! And I think their tomato soup is just the best!

We ended up on the 3rd floor but it’s really pretty convenient to the lounge.
There are some upside to the 3rd floor. The balconies are slightly larger, and there is not as much back and fourth traffic outside of your room as other CL guests head to the lounge.

Running on fumes after a 5 AM flight. We made it to the Innkeeper’s! We ended up on the 3rd floor but it’s really pretty convenient to the lounge.

We made it just in time for breakfast this morning. The offerings tonight were the beef short rib & shredded pork.

Well that’s interesting. We checked into YC today. I didn’t get pictures, but they also had the beef roast with mashed potatoes & shredded pork with fixings for sliders. Your portion of the beef look more generous than YC. It was literally a mini bite. They also had chicken tenders, slices of cold roast beef, cucumber salad & shrimp cocktail. Plus the usual crudite & cheese & crackers. It’s noticeable how much less is available than even a year ago. Previously there would be 3 cold salad options in bowl for self serving. Tonight was just the preplated cucumber salad, each plate had 2 cucumber slices with a piece or 2 of onions.

Disappointing to hear. Hope the selection/sizing improves.

Maybe it will pickup tomorrow after the Holiday is over. When regular staffing levels should improve.

I have lost track, who is the GM these days at YC/BC?

I haven’t seen a resort manager’s name in a few years. None of the welcome letters or emails have had a manager’s name. I did a google search, Kim Marnaccio was the manager until 2023, google only shows a guest experience manager now.

You don’t get the “welcome” e-mail usually shortly after your arrival? It’s the one welcoming you to your stay and has the feedback link (that will actually go to someone up the management line if you have any serious stay issues). Those e-mails are usually signed by the GM, or at least they are in all of my stays for awhile now.

Just looked it up, my last BC stay was 8/2024 and it was John Stafford at the time, not sure if still accurate.

Maybe you’ve been put on the “we don’t want their feedback” guest list. 8-)

I think I have. 🤣🤣. My DIL keeps telling me about the emails she gets with links for any problems, & that I must be getting them. 🤷🏻‍♀️. I have gotten this email a few times.

It does have a phone number buried at the bottom, says it’s the front desk, to call for any issues. And sometimes, no email at all. I used to get guest feedback after every resort stay. I have been staying at different resorts lately, so I already was thinking they don’t care what I think anymore. The only surveys I’ve had the last few years is about a park visit.
