Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

For fun I just looked up wait time at HS because we are doing the after hours event next month. I'm starting to get worried. Look at these wait times😳

Ok my pics won't attach. 100 minutes for slinky, 20 for aliens, 40 for mickey and Minnie railway, 35 for toy story mania, 90 minutes for rise. That's insane and so not how they bill after hours. Rise and slinky are normal daytime waits. I'm hoping I didn't make the wrong decision by not getting regular tickets and LL.
Agree! Those are long wait times but WDW often inflates times so maybe that’s it?

Those waits are crazy for an AH event. Hopefully they are inflated or just a glitch. When we went to AH at HS a few months ago the waits were much much lower. Slinky had the longest waits of the night, but was usually under 30 minutes, and was walk on towards the end of the night. I really hope Disney hasn't started overselling these AH parties, they are some of my favorite events!

@Dave006 & @trishadono Ya'll convinced us! I genuinely appreciate the info. We're booked!
The CR king rooms (there are 2) are maybe my faves on property. That room type is available for my upcoming trip, but I have 3 people listed as guests in my room even though I’m 99.99999% sure it will just be me, so I can’t book it. It’s killing me. Enjoy that glorious balcony!

I did an AH at DHS last August, and it was pretty freakin glorious! Slinky wait time started high but dropped fast after an hour (that generally works through any remaining crowds), I rode it twice:). 25 min max. I believe they had inflated wait times posted, like 45 min, for most of the night. One thing I highly recommend is walking through Galaxy’s Edge - I’m not a huge Star Wars person, and it was still super cool to have that area to myself.

I’ve been debating whether to do Epcot AH for an upcoming trip, but I’d want to change my non-CL arrival night stay to BWI (I’m at AKL), and I keep dithering. Wonder how many times I could ride GOG?

I got a little nervous last night. Touring Plans shows a room on the 12th floor as a King CL room. They show 4911 & 4912 as 2 queen but then the bedding shows a King. I checked our reservation but it doesn't state Tower Club or Atrium.

When I booked the room did show the Edna Mode room. I told DH we have the CL thread folks telling me there are 2 rooms & they have stayed there & know. So we are good.

I have stayed in both! I personally like the bathroom layout of 4911 better, but it is next to the lounge prep area, so light sleepers who want to sleep in may want to bring earplugs just in case. 4912 is a little weirder, it has a soaking tub in the shower enclosure (there are pics here if you search), but quiteter and still that awesome balcony:).

Darn it, now I’m thinking about Epcot AH. I was wrong, I arrive Wed night. Rn I have non-CL AKL on Wed arrival night and 3 days of CR Atrium club at CR starting Thursday (my #1 want is that I’m CL for MNSSHP on Friday). I am almost certainly solo for those firsr 2 nights, and I’m paying for the room anyways so can lead the decision. I can switch to do non-CL BWI for 2 nights and move to Atrium CL for 2 starting the day of MNSSHP), and I can add Epcot AH for basically the same overall cost. I’m lazy and uninterested in being at CR with a nighttime event at Epcot 😆. I have a Geo-82 res held at 7:45 pm the night of AH just in case…(not a fan of eggs, so the fireworks experience is not for me when I’m solo). Wwdd? Help a girl out!

I'd probably switch to BWI for the first 2 nights. ☺

I would switch to BWI. That said, I love all things boardwalk so I may not be a good person to ask.

That is Robert & Alyssa of Here with the Ears. They are the couple that spent a year living at all the WDW Resorts and providing videos on YouTube. They now live in Orlando. There videos have been very accurate.

Lets link in @lentesta of TouringPlans.com to ask about this room now appearing to be #1340 as an Accessible Garden Cottage with CL Access as a 1 floor only unit vs a regular 2 Queen room as indicated on TouringPlans for Boardwalk Inn.

Dave

It is indeed an accessible Garden Cottage with CL access. Just got a spreadsheet that confirms that.

We're updating all 29,000+ rooms we have based on new data. Should be done late this month.

In looking at that huge spreadsheet, I was surprised that there are only around 50-ish rooms across property that we have differences on. We need to send people out to physically check on some of them, and I don't anticipate any major issues.

Thanks @Dave006!

Just to close the loop on this question. Yes there is 1 King room on the Atrium Club floor #12 that is a Resort View. You can't book it directly since the normal Resort View rooms on the Atrium Club floor #12 all have the same view, and you can't book this King room. You can only have it as one of your Requests on your Reservation. It is room #4813.

Lots of extra detail that I did not want to add to my earlier response to your Questions.

Your reservation does not specifically list it. Just a generic "enjoy access to the designated Club Level Lounge" in the reservation / booking system. Yes it is confusing to everyone.

Does this make sense?

Dave

I decided I am going to need to take it on myself to go easy on this trip. My work schedule is just stupid right up until then, and August weather is no joke between rain and heat and potential for hurricanes. I did shift to BWI but for arrival night only - I’ll get sushi and cake, of course - and then move to CR CL for 3 nights and opt out of AH. I’ll do charcuterie and a day bevvie at Geo-82:). I love BW area as well!!!

That makes perfect sense. Thanks for all the info!

Sounds like a good plan. August weather is no joke.
