Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I will be at GF CL in just over 2 weeks and will let you know how that is. I’m a little concerned about noise, but my mom had her heart set on GF, so we stayed put. Like you, GF is my favorite, but Tower Club at CR is close!! I am actually starting with 3 days at BWI CL, my first time there after multiple stays at YC.
I hope you and your mom have an amazing stay! We may have to try GF next time once the construction is over. Please let us know how you like it there!

Just wanted to report that Tower Club level is indeed AMAZING. We knew the view from dining at the California Grill but it's a totally different story when you have it all day long, without the noise, without the crowd, and even better, when your room is just across the lounge — and did I mention the view.

We didn't know what to expect with the recent “Edna Mode” refurbishment. We were “pleasantly surprised” because we expected it would be a total disaster, whereas the only issue is with the choice of material and the overall build quality. The room is quite large and the balcony is almost bigger.

Of course that doesn't justify the price for a 14-days stays (like we used to in the past), but for a bucket-list item, that's definitely worth it!
Thanks so much! Those balconies look like a dream!!!

Hi! I'm new to this forum, but love the info shared here and have been following along for some time. I am a club level newbie. Last year we stayed poly club level and loved it but are wanting to try new resorts and new club level experiences for our stay this August (family of 4; 2 adults and 2 kids 10/12). I am debating on the best options. I currently have a split stay booked at Grand Floridian CL (5 nights, standard resort view room), Yacht Club CL (4 nights water view room), and Contemporary resort Tower CL (one night in the TPV one bedroom suite for MNSSHP). With all the construction going on at GF and YC, I'm considering switching things up. I've found availability at Boardwalk CL (6 nights in a deluxe room) and a Bounce back for the TPV one bedroom at contemporary resort (4 nights). This would make things way less complicated in terms of moving around, especially since we have a night at Helios/Epic Universe in the middle of the split. However, I am afraid of having FOMO of not doing Grand Floridian. It's all so overwhelming! Appreciate any advice on what you think the is the best split stay and CL options!
Did you also pose the same question on FB? 😅 If so, I answered you there, yet I think the BWI/CR split sounds dreamy! BWI is one of our favs along with WL and Chronos in CSR Tower, but that one is not considered deluxe, so you wouldn’t get the EEH perks - other than that and no park walkability, the experience is quite similar. And BB offer for club level is a unicorn that I would take in a heartbeat! You’ll have a great time with whatever you choose

@2vets the Victorian suite is also available on bounce back for my dates. So now it’s back between GF and the one bedroom TPV at CR. What do I do?? It’s been a dream to stay at GF but that CR room is huge and has 2 full baths!!!

Thanks- yes I did and thanks for your feedback!

IMO, CR feels like a big chain hotel in a city. Kind of nondescript lobby, views of the parking lot, etc. The GF definitely feels more like a resort.

But, the walk to MK and the tower club with spacious rooms and balconies and the TPV make me always choose it over the GF.

I guess if I were planning to spend a lot of time in the resort and cared more about the aesthetic, I would choose GF. But if I were doing more MK time and wanted a plussed up experience and convenience, I would do CR.

For what it’s worth, we always do a spilt stay with CR Tower and BWI so we can walk to 3 parks.

@T.G.I.Friday thanks- yes, I agree CR is not a very exciting resort as a whole. We previously stayed there garden wing and I was not impressed. I’ve heard the main tower is a much different experience! And I agree being in walking distance is super convenient!

I’m sure you said this somewhere up thread, but what is your party make up?

Like 2vets the GF is my absolute favorite with CR a close 2nd. I don't really like the CR as a resort but tower club is amazing and has the best food offerings for my taste. With that said, I would choose the Victorian suite in a heartbeat, especially with a BB rate. The Victorian suite is huge. I never stayed in a one bedroom CR suite so I can't compare them size wise. Hopefully someone who has been in both will compare them for you. For many years we did GF exclusively then GF YC split for many years. Since covid I do not like the food offerings at YC so have been staying BWI on the Epcot side. Love the garden cottages and deluxe rooms.

I would choose the suite also and stick those kiddos on the couch! How many bathrooms does it have?

@Angehd2 , I low key wanted to move DMom and I from the GF 1 bedroom to the CR 1 bedroom for our upcoming trip because of that full second bathroom, but she will not be deterred! 🤣 I booked a GF outer building 1-bedroom for Xmas specifically for the second full bathroom.

@2vets it’s 1 full and a half bath in the Victorian

Thanks! I will call today and see if it’s still there

Oh, yeah, I’d be all over that. Pretty sure that room is TPV (at least somewhat?) as well.
I think one of the four dormer balconies has an obstructed view of the castle. Also, rate was not much more ($100 or so a night) than the TPV CL rooms (rack rate)

Booked it! Thanks so much to everyone for your help! Excited for my first BWI/GF split stay!!!
