That’s not what I heard. The CM’s from YC CL have been seen in other lounges BWI, BC. Also they were no CL available in parts of Jan and Feb. My understanding it’s still going on.I thought the YC lounge and rooms were taken off the reno list. I read it somewhere here on the disboards or a different site. Am I wrong?
Yes! I was one of the people who reported meeting YC CL CMs at BWI CL last month. They specifically said they were moved temporarily because of the YC CL renovation. That’s not what I heard. No but there has been some confusion in the last 60 days. The verbiage on the YC Overview page was changed and they removed the specific comment about some Guest rooms being refurbished. Regatta Club. Stone Harbor is at Beach Club.No but there has been some confusion in the last 60 days. The Stone Harbor Club closed last month or it's remodel and the entire 5th floor had it's windows covered.
What we don't know is what is going to be done during this YC room refurbishments after the 5th floor is done. In the past they always started on the 5th floor and worked down 1 floor at a time.

I hop they keep the balcony at the lounge. Love eating outsideRegatta Club. Stone Harbor is at Beach Club.
I’m sure they wouldn’t want to take out any other rooms, but I’d love if they could make the club lounge a little bigger. Can’t wait to see what they do with it.
Me too. It’s my favorite part of the lounge.I hop they keep the balcony at the lounge. Love eating outside
I doubt it is at risk as only the Inn Keepers' Club balcony at the BWI ran afoul of the rules.I hop they keep the balcony at the lounge. Love eating outside
I interesting, thanks. I am planning my 60th bday for September and trying to figure which 2 club levels i should stay at. Last several years have gone ti BWI and Poly. Looking for something new this year. I love the new lounge at BWI. Maybe the will expand it.No but there has been some confusion in the last 60 days. Not sure about all the club rooms but when we stayed in the garden view (before rooms were renamed) we had a full balconyDo Beach Club club level rooms have balconies to sit on?
No not all club rooms at BC have balconies. Some have Juliet balconies which you can’t really sit or stand on. It is hit or miss at BC. Almost all YC CL have balconies. Not sure about all the club rooms but when we stayed in the garden view (before rooms were renamed) we had a full balcony
Can’t wait to see what it looks like.
Be there in 35 days! Let’s us know if there are any changes !!
Can’t wait to see what it looks like.![]()
We just spent 4 days in a Garden Room in late January. It is peaceful and private. There is a quiet pool. The rooms are two stories. Lovely sitting room on the first level with a powder room and mini kitchen area (microwave and small fridge). Upper level with king bed and full bathroom, large closet. It is easy to get to the Club Level. a short walk (outside) to the hallway to elevator and right up to the 4th floor. By the way, the Club Level at BWI is lovely. Food is excellent and staff is amazing. A great place to unwind.Let me know how it is. The wife and I are there for a couple night at the end of July.
You deserve it. Have fun!!I had the best of intentions not to throw a quick trip in between our Novtrip and my visit to treat DMom in May. Yadda yadda, staying at Atrium Club next weekend. There goes my guilt-free splurge money for Feb/March. Stupid addiction!!
I keep trying to justify an earlier arrival (I get in at 7 bc…California), but that cost is at least exceeding my tolerance and spending fund, so I’m…thrifty? Yeah. I’m super thrifty! You deserve it. Have fun!!
Looking forward to hearing of any menu or lounge changes.
