It was REALLY YUMMY!! I didn’t eat at all on the plane and barely had time to grab an app before I was running out, so I hogged out on a Tokyo negi roll, hamachi, and veggie tempura. And a sake flight. Mmm. If DH were here, I’d have gotten wagyu nigiri, but I just can’t justify solo. I have a res on Wed as well, so I might go again! I have some other things I kinda want to try. Seeing the meticulous dishes, I feel like now is the time to go (before it gets dialed back). Highly recommend.

I didn’t take pics, but both sushi selections were fabulous. I Iove sushi but very rarely eat fish. It’ll be hard not to get them both again!

A welcome glass of bubbly during Epcot FW. And hours later, red sky at morning, sailor’s warning. Gorgeous sunrise this morning.

I ran past the apps last night, but it included pulled pork and Parker House (I think?) rolls, seafood rolls, mashed potatoes with pot roast, chicken nuggets, charcuterie - I think this was most! Desserts included chocolate cupcakes, chocolate truffle cake, and cannoli.

Whine alert. Still on my flight out and got my YC room assignment - the complete opposite of my request, literally the farthest I can get from the lounge and with a view of Stormalong Bay and not much else- right at the most obstructed location - and they have availability, too. Really looking forward to getting there and hopefully getting a different room. I think I’d rather be in 4911! I brought my earplugs, after all…

You can ask for wine at anytime the lounge is open even outside of official serving times. You will need to put it in a paper coffee cup or a plastic cup to take out of the building.

What's a Parker House? You brought me way back. I used to hang out at a bar called Parker House in 20s down at the NJ shore.

Parker House rolls. These rolls get their name from their signature folded shape made by flattening a ball of dough and folding it in half. Legend has it that at the Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston, an angry baker threw a batch of unfinished rolls into the oven.

They are the best!! Once you have them, you’ll be like I need these all the time. sometimes they have them in the freezer section at grocery stores. I’m sorry in advance for when you love them.

They are served warm with a layer of butter on them and they serve them with 3 spreads —a citrus butter, a bacon jam and cheese spread that is sort of like a pub cheese. Enjoy!

We were in the room next door (5177) during our July/August stay. I’d booked garden view under the old “system” so no clue how we got that room but it’s my favorite room view I’ve ever had. Enjoy!!!
