What are your favorite breakfast places? Staying BWI and heading to MK leisurely. My husband and youngest will be golfing so want a breakfast for me and my other son. He likes plain typical breakfast food. I have Topolinos booked but feel bad going without my other son. Neither care about the characters.

I like Trattoria Al Forno for breakfast. It has the typical options plus some interesting Italian style entrees.

Ale & Compass at YC has a nice breakfast. They recently brought back their add-on buffet option.

TAF has outdoor seating. Request that if weather is good. Such a lovely spot!

I didn’t pay attention so not sure if characters are back there yet? If yes you can request seating without them. It’s a small room but cozy, DH and I did that a few times.

Staying BWI and heading to MK leisurely? Sounds great! I'd like to suggest Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary. Since opening last year, it's become the "must do" breakfast for my Cast Member daughter and I. Steakhouse 71 has great service, fair prices and lots of great choices. Like your son, I'm a "plain typical breakfast food" gal. My daughter is a bit more adventurous. Steakhouse 71 has wonderful options for both. We usually split the Steakhouse Feast, which is about $20. It's a large platter of eggs benedict, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, cheddar grits, breakfast potatoes, Mickey waffle, fruit. We can barely eat it all. We like to breakfast around 9AM and then stroll over to the MK in time for the early Festival of Fantasy parade. Second option on your way to the MK is Grand Floridian Cafe, which also does an excellent and reasonably priced breakfast.

Topolino's breakfast for my daughter and I would cost $80 + tax and tip. I did lots of character meals when my kids were young, but I'm not into paying those high prices any more.

We could not book cl those dates when we tried on June 8th. Dd wanted that for her Bach.
That must be part of the time. It sounded like right now it could be blocked out for longer than 8 weeks. When it gets closer and start date more finalized it’s possible dates will open up.

we have a stay booked starting March 10 so I guess it’s after that? I booked the day 2023 bookings opened

So the review everyone was waiting for
Coddled eggs on the breakfast menu at CR CL

They have an interesting look. Did not realize they have mashed potatoes under the egg on top of the bacon 😁

Mixed it all up in the cup and dug in

Interesting textures mixed together but actually good. I liked them. I would not buy them specifically but would eat them again 😁👍

PS. The CMs all heard me asking about these so got me a hot one to try. Wonder if that makes a difference. No! 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for the review. Mashed potatoes? Interesting. Glad you had a hot one—I don’t think I’d want to try them any other way. The rest of your breakfast looks good. 😉 😀

I second trattoria Al Forno. We love this breakfast! It has some interesting options plus standard options.

Thanks everyone. It's funny, the 3 I was debating have all been recommended here. A&C, TAF and steakhouse 71. The only breakfasts we usually do are CM and Ohana. We always did lounge breakfast.

Just moved over to RPC from BWI CL and look what they finally got!! I’m so happy they finally got the new one! They said they got it around 3 weeks ago. BTW, Irv is here!! We were all so happy to see him!!

Has anyone stayed in a room that was not on the CL floor, but at check-in you were able to pay for lounge access, while still staying on a non-CL floor?
I want to book a room on the 1st floor of YC (because I love patios),
BUT...
I also want club lounge access, but I don't want a 5th floor room.

Only WL has ever done this and they only did it after half their resort converted to DVC and they lost half their CL rooms. No one know if they are still offering this post reopening. It is not offered anywhere else.
