We’re going to be staying club level at beach club June 9-12, we‘ve done CL twice, both as surprise upgrades. its probably been 10years since we stayed club level at beach club, I’m so excited to be going back!
one question I have, I know they have soda and water in the club lounge, do they have sparkling water or club soda? Just wondering if I need to pack some
Sweet, thanks!I just got back from YC, and the lounge had a water dispenser with still and sparkling taps, and I’m pretty sure there were cans of club soda in a mini fridge. I’m assuming BC will have a similar setup, YC and BC usually match offerings fairly closely.
CR had the same water dispenser, and I’ve also seen it in the pics of a few other lounges recently, so they may have installed those everywhere.
So glad the punch is back!Lastly, dessert service. The below were from various nights.
Basic cookie assortment (same as afternoon snacks).

The ones with the gummy fish are kinda cute.

This was a big hit for my kids...self-serve ice cream with all sorts of toppings. I had not seen this in our Poly CL pre-COVID travels so this was a nice addition. Seemed popular.

Sounds like a great trip. Thanks for the review of room & lounge. So glad the punch is back!
My tower cl room was the 4912. Since you posted pix of 4911, and another did the 12 recently I didn’t take pix.
Here’s the thing however…. Why is there only 1 chair? I asked for another chair and did get one .
I just checked into a Marriott Courtyard for a fraction of the price of the CR room. I have actual glassware and coffee mugs and not paper/plastic. Why is Disney still being cheap on that?
The decor of the king room was so boring IMO. No dresser, plain boring table, ugly grey carpet and Edna on the walls, who thought that was a good thing? The non tower rooms look so nice and bright ! I really enjoy the orange sofa for the pop of color.
Another odd thing was the shower didn’t have anywhere to put your things, you had to put your razor etc on the ground. Again? Huh?
So even though I didn’t love the room, we loved the openness of the balcony! The lounge was super quiet and relaxing!
Funny, we said the opposite. Probably one of the best trips we have had in ages. We kept winging it and changing things and rode rides, had time to relax and caught some last minute dining. Genie and ILL really helped us. We used it all day and hopped often. Snagging many GOTG also made for a fun trip!
I am somewhat rambling lol. I am TIRED! Thx for all the pix and info! Poly is my next up !
I stopped riding teacups ages ago. However I ride everything with minor inconveniences. The only ride that bothers me yet I still ride often is Harry Potter Forbidden Journey. I had zero issues with this ride. It was so smooth compared to SM, RR and EE. It glides when you slightly spin. Also it’s not a quick 360 spin it’s gliding sideways for a while then gliding back or forwards at spots. Dd27 said she did have slight issues with queasiness the 1 st time but said compared to other rides , less.Sounds like a great trip. Thanks for the review of room & lounge.
May I ask how the GoftheG ride was for those prone to motion sickness. I’m a little concerned for myself after some early reports I’ve seen.

2 out of 4 people in my family got a little motion sick on the ride (they don't usually) and said they wanted to lie down for awhile after. They liked it, though.May I ask how the GoftheG ride was for those prone to motion sickness. I’m a little concerned for myself after some early reports I’ve seen.
Oh no. Sorry that happened to you. I’m quite worried about being out of commission for the rest of the day. I don’t know if it is worth the risk. Like you I have inconsistent experiences as to exactly what makes me sick. I can feel a little unsettled after spinning rides and need to sit down for a minute and have a soda, but screen-based ones with 3D a la star tours are what really can do me in. I’ve employed the eyes closed strategy a lot.I'm prone in some cases but inconsistent. For context I'm fine with Space Mountain, FoP (I know when to look away in a couple of spots just to get my bearings), Slinky, etc. I'll go on EE but it sometimes makes me feel a little off afterwards. Oddly, Remy makes me feel a little green - something about the screens and simulation of movement. I usually pass on RnR and ToT. Things like Star Tours and MFSR are a no for me. Tea Cups don't bother me at all!
While I would like to try it again, GotG was one and done for me this trip. We rode in the AM I was pretty much out/off/the rest of the day. Like go right back to the room off - I just wanted to lie down in some A/C for awhile. I heard they were giving out sick bags later in the day - I never did need it but was this close.
I would like to try again with a different strategy - maybe focus on other things (to the extent possible, it's sort of hard), maybe take some medicine/ginger/etc (have never used any before, somewhat reluctant to try). I had only had coffee and two hard-boiled eggs for breakfast - I could be wrong with this but I sort of felt that if I had had more in my stomach it would have been better. Maybe even just keep my eyes shut in parts.
But that's just me - the other 3 in my party rode multiple times over our trip and all loved it - no issues at all.
