Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Rumor CR remodel April-Sept... Rumor says people are already being relocated to GF... don’t we have some here with 50th bookings at CR? Maybe you’ll get to be among the first at a remodeled CR?! @trishadono was that you?

I do.

Saw those rumors too. Makes sense given availability (or lack thereof) when I was looking at various dates the other day. Something very much seemed up.

If true, I kinda love seeing Disney plowing money into the resorts. Finishing WL, Poly work is on fire, and maybe now CR. They could very easily put pencils down given everything going on, IMO.

Although I’ll eventually be crying the other way with future room rates to make up for the spending. 😎

My last CR room needed a refurb, if I’m honest, so hope there’s some truth to this.

Yes I do! I did split the week poly/CR because I remembered poly also celebrating 50! Hope it is complete timely!
I am actually staying at CR next week! I’ll get pix for myself before it’s changed!

I have CR booked for that weekend too. I hope they change the sinks. Wouldn't that be great :genie:

Those of you who make your own CL, I am curious! I was thinking of trying it out on our trip, but we won't be in a DVC room so will be a little more limited. What would you all suggest? Beer is a given, I'm traveling with a Canadian. :)

I have really been a big fan of mobile ordering! A cupcake? some snacks? Lots of adult beverages available too. Most of the bars will do to go drinks as well.( Gf at ER and Tambu at Poly for example).

I do like to MO a kids meal sometimes if I something small to graze on. AT gf for ex you got grapes and a cutie pie orange with a water included with kids meal. I didn't even care if I ate the burger or not I just wanted some fruit lol.

When I am on the monorail I like to check the other resorts menus! Also CR BVG now has the desserts in the case again (did not over summer). That is easy to get off mono, grab and go! (did that in oct).

I think a night time flatbread is probably my go to snack. Easy to share and the leftovers good cold.

I wonder if the end date roughly coincides with the train plans?
Nope, just googled it, good thought though.

Discover the magic of Florida’s most popular theme parks when you ride carefree and car-free north from any of our South Florida stations.

Our Orlando station is nearly complete, but there is much left to do, including laying more than 170 miles of new track. Phase II construction to Orlando is expected to take approximately three years. Stay tuned for updates.

Thanks for sharing this :).

Wow, just read on the news forum, Magical express is ending starting January 1,2022 :sad1:

I’m upset about no more late night EMH!!!! I planned all my park days around them! I hope they at least extend the hours in the evening!

It's sad how more and more things are slowly being taken away :sad2:.

Not a good day for Disney news, and I was so enjoying my snow day. ⛄

🙁

This was a family stay pre-pandemic where we cut CL to save some money...
We did prepackaged snacks, some candy, breakfast bars and wine. We put it all out on the counter for easy grabbing whenever we wanted, often for late afternoon we’d grab something and go eat in another part of the hotel to get out of the room during our afternoon park break. We liked the stuff already packaged in small bags (like for a kids lunch) because it was easy. Chips, milano cookies, Chex mix , goldfish (yes. This grown up eats goldfish and drinks wine at club level and loves it!) they all had single bag options at Target.

Don’t forget napkins and water bottles. If you buy something like a big bag of chips you’ll need paper bowls to pour them into.

Our extra park expenditures we wouldn’t normally have on a CL stay were espresso in park, snacks mid-morning and bigger dinners than we normally would if we had eaten real-food appetizers.
